what are your favourite films?

I'm a big steven spielberg fan (did you guess?). i love most of his stuff. also robert zumeckis (back to the future, blues brothers, forrest gump) is a big favourite director of mine. his films are fantastic.

My top 5 films are:

-Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
-Back to the Future
-Close Encounters of the Third Kind
-The Truman Show

Lord Of The Rings Trilogy (probably my favourite of all time actually)

Oh please please pleeeeaase say you are joking Marino! I really hope you are, that movie worst the worst thing i've ever seen in the cinema! I have only one reason for liking that, and i can't say on an E rated forum.		2008-12-06 17:57:00

The Truman Show seems to be popping up alot! So many people i know think it's crap. I think it's great though.

Donnie Darko was a good movie but not one of my favorite.

The fifth Element is pretty entertaining.
Star Wars Episode 3 because the part where OBi and Ani fight is just Epic. Its even Legendary.
Requiem for a Dream was pretty sick also.
Dawn of the Dead is my favorite zombie movie.
Forest Gump is a classic to.

i loved it. Although now that i've seen Pineapple Express that's my favorite. Even past Superbad. The subject manner is more mature but the movie in general is hilarious and has a point that it gets across through the humor of the Apatow gang2008-12-07 14:48:00

my favourite scene is on the traffic, with the car nd boat flying around and they avoid by driving with over 9000 miles per hour... and it's a ferrari

When i went to the cinema to see it, i found it pretty refreshing to see a movie that actually made me laugh. Comedy is so lame in recent days, in terms of movies go. I mean, Epic/Disaster movie etc? Terrible. But yeah knocked up is great.2008-12-07 16:30:00

I've finished watching Knocked Up and thought it was great. I love that Jonah Hill so much and Superbad is right up there with best comedies I have ever seen.
Seth Rogen and that lot really good together.
I watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall yesterday for the first time as well and most of the people in Knocked up were in that as well (also Russell Brand who I think is great)

EDIT: Thanks for reminding me about Pineapple Express as people have said that's really funny and I forgot all about it		2008-12-07 17:12:00

I personally think it's one of the funniest films I've seen in a long time
