Games you can't stop playing

Has anyone ever played a relatively old game that they like to play through again a couple of years after they've played it once?

Here's my list of games I keep playing because they're so darn good!

Jak & Daxter: The precursor legacy
Rayman Revolution
Spyro the Dragon
Spyro 2: gateway to Glimmer
Spyro: Year of the Dragon
Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex
Crash Twinsanity
Crash Tag Team Racing
Pac Man World

Sonic Adventure DX
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle
Ratchet And Clank


Anyone else agree with this list? Does anyone have their own list?

Hmm.... Old games, you say?

Ive got quite a few:

Crash Team Racing (PS1)
Pokemon Ruby (GBA)
Pokemon Emerald (GBA)
Portal (PC)
Sly 1-3 (PS2/Remastered PS3)
COD MW2 (PS3)

Some of them arent as old as yours, but Theyre all at least a few years old.... Anyone else got some ol' gems they still play?		2011-05-14 18:00:00

Both the Battalion Wars titles keep drawing my back in. Moreso the first game. I prefered the first, given the seconds removal of the 'Go there' command. Honestly, what sort of partial RTS has no 'Go there' command? Derp.

Also, I too keep returning to SA2B. Love that title. Without a doubt the best 3D Sonic game.		2011-05-14 22:28:00

FF7.
Sonic 1, 2, 3, And S&K.

I would still play SA DX and SA2 battle but as much as i love Chao,
I can't play Them older then PS3 3D Sonic game anymore.
The 3D Visuals is just to outdated and ugly. plus I'm not a fan of the gameplay on them games.

Sonic Generations when it comes out and the years I'll play it to come
Epic Visuals and Gameplay~ and it Has Classic Sonic! looks to be one of the all time best Sonic games EVER.
I'm more then sure I'll keep playing it x)

and there are some other games but it'd take me to long to think of them all.

Silent Hill 2.

Something about this specific horror game makes me want to play it a lot.

Resistance 2. It's one of the ps3 games I have completed 100% trophy wise and still play online. I would say I am above average on this game, I hadn't played it since Christmas and played it yesterday. I ended up coming first out of 60 players on the server. If nobody has played this game I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.

I know I'll probably be shooting myself in the foot here, but it's a million times better than what any cod game is (And yes, I have played them).		2011-05-22 17:09:00

I agree with most of that list. Especially Sonic Adventure 2: battle.

I know I'll probably be shooting myself in the foot here, but it's a million times better than what any cod game is (And yes, I have played them).

I'm probably about to shoot myself in the foot as well, but Cod games just don't do it for me. I prefer shooters with more... originality. I know that both two games I am about to state are third-person shooters, but they qualify as they have a lot of shooting in them;
Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen (PS3)
Transformers: War For Cybertron (PS3)

Yes. I spent like all of my money on those tabletop space invaders arcade games, I was never any good at it, but I kept playing regardless. The space invaders for PS1 was pretty fun too... I never got past the first boss though...		2011-05-23 21:57:00

Well, I've retired from LBP 1 & 2 for a bit because I wore it out lol. I need a break but I used to play LBP obsessiably lol.

-Fallout 3
-Call of Duty Black Ops
-Resident Evil 5
-Plants Vs. Zombies
-Castle Crashers

final fantasy 7-13
metal gear solid 1-4
the spyro games (i got everything in gate way to glimmer)
crash team racing
syphon filter 1-3 (the 2nd one the best tho)
theme park, them park world(ps1)--i got addicted to these
theme hospital --------------------------
warzone 2100 ( loved this game get very hard too i like a challenge tho )

I got everything in ALL OF THEM! It's worth it when you get the special level... not so much in the second one. All you get is the super-perma-flame which gets annoying after a while.		2011-05-25 18:48:00
