Checkpoint Trouble

In my in progress top down racer I have come across a problem in the fifth track. The checkpoints around the track are not working.

The checkpoints are a microchip with four different colored tag sensors; when the car/boat with the related colored tag drives over it sends the signal to a counter it is wired to; when all five counters are filled they activate an AND gate and add one to the lap counter and they are then reset for the next lap.

But when I drive over them they don't work; I can see the white signal moving along the wire in create mode but at the same time I have the controlinator workings open and the counter doesn't increase. It fails to work in play mode as well.

Not only do the checkpoints make the race winnable but they alter the music and global lighting for every lap completed op they are VITAL.

Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

So I'm guessing you have the same system set up on 4 other tracks and nothing else has changed about the system itself.

So some troubleshooting ideas:

1 - Make sure you don't have any connection hooked to any microchip input itself.
2 - Check the other logic you have created to make sure no other tags are interfering with the system.
3 - Make sure the counters are set to 1 and are not resetting themselves.
4 - Check to see if there is a problem with the counter logic itself. Sometimes when I copy logic I have strange problems. Redoing it might fix it.
