Because scary stories that happen at a Friday 13th are recorded forever, but scary stories that happen on all the other 364 days of the year are forgotten. | 2011-05-13 20:13:00 Author: gdn001 Posts: 5891 |
Amazing story- On Friday 13th I went to school and I am not superstitious about these things but everyone else was and spent so much time wondering what bad things were going to happen by the end of the day nothing bad happened, except the stuff they forced to onto themselves and said were bad. God I hated my Primary school class they are almost all little...............I hate them ill............stupid.............argggggghhhhhhhh . Sorry. | 2011-05-13 20:18:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
Rabid-Coot: Note to self- Repeating "fun" over and over and over again does not actually make something fun. Also, never sing about the dilemma of where to sit down. What is up with the random rapper in the middle of the song? Because scary stories that happen at a Friday 13th are recorded forever, but scary stories that happen on all the other 264 days of the year are forgotten. Wait, what? Maybe you should think about anger management. | 2011-05-13 20:28:00 Author: Creekey Posts: 116 |
My birthday is on Fri. the 13th some years. I remember one occasion where I wanted to go go-karting with friends for a B-day party. And it rained. *Sad face* | 2011-05-13 20:30:00 Author: Maxi Posts: 1176 |
Lol I was kidding but I do hate them. | 2011-05-13 20:38:00 Author: craigmond Posts: 2426 |
Wait, what? I think he meant to say 364 days. Although really it depends how many Friday 13ths are in a year. | 2011-05-13 20:38:00 Author: Nuclearfish Posts: 927 |

[insert dreaded video] Shame on you, Rabid! Now I'm going to have nightmares of this monstrosity! | 2011-05-14 00:27:00 Author: Qrii_Nakari Posts: 204 |
How did this "Friday the 13th is supreme bad luck" thing begin anyway? : | 2011-05-14 00:37:00 Author: Amigps Posts: 564 |
Because it's unlucky 13. And Friday, Friday, Friday. We so excited. | 2011-05-14 00:41:00 Author: GameRoom Posts: 200 |
I hate Friday the 13ths. I'm not lying when I say that I get the WORST luck on these days. School is a living H-E-doublehockeysticks, people seem to be more irritable to me, and things just go horribly wrong... Well, all of that has already happened today, so let's hope that's the end of it. | 2011-05-14 00:49:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |
I think he meant to say 364 days. Although really it depends how many Friday 13ths are in a year. I think the most is 3 February, March and November. | 2011-05-14 00:53:00 Author: Rabid-Coot Posts: 6728 |
I had a marvelous day today. I found a $100 lying on the street, then I was suddenly able to get on PSN for the whole day, I also went to an all you can eat buffet, and I got some sort of special promotion thing so it was free, finaly, I ended my day by watching the new PotC movie before anyone else. Yeah, I love these days. <3 I also met Jesus. He's a beast at Mortal Kombat. | 2011-05-14 06:21:00 Author: JamesDNaux Posts: 757 |

Apparently Taylor Swift's favorite number is 13, which is weird because of the bad luck associated with it. A lot of tall buildings or cruise ships lack a floor 13 because it's bad luck. So the floors are literally numbered like this: 9, 10, 11, 12, 14. But thats pretty common knowledge. Ever heard of the Winchester Mansion in San Jose, California? The owner had an obsession with the number 13. She lived alone and they say she was insane. Over the course of 36 years, she hired workmen to keep adding and adding on to the mansion needlessly. For example, doors were built that opened to walls or opened to a drop off to the yard below, stairways were built that led to no where or just to a ceiling, chimneys were stopped inches short of the ceiling... Why? The lady claimed that all this building was to confuse the "spirits". But perhaps one of the creepiest things about it was that many rooms or aspects of the house contained the number 13 in big ways. Rooms had 13 windows; the windows held 13 panes of glass; walls had 13 panels; some of the wood floors had 13 sections; and all the staircases but one had 13 steps. The final staircase had 42 steps, yet only rose nine feet. So I guess creepy things like this make all number 13s suspicious... But unlike buildings, we can't remove the number 13 from the calendar. I'm not sure why it has to be "Friday the 13th", instead of like, "Monday the 13th" would make away more sense because everyone hates Mondays, signifying the start of the traditional 5 day work week. | 2011-05-15 03:35:00 Author: Creekey Posts: 116 |
I found out one of my uncles died this friday, so yeah. | 2011-05-15 03:38:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
I found out one of my uncles died this friday, so yeah. Wow, I am sorry for you. That is definitely strange. My condolences. I am not one to believe in superstitions, but sometimes things make you wonder. I'm sorry about your uncle. I came home to a sick, bleeding kitty on my Friday the 13th. So it definitely makes me think. But hopefully my cat will be ok. I really, really hope so. | 2011-05-15 05:34:00 Author: Creekey Posts: 116 |

My cat died earlier in the year so I know how you feel, he was really ill before but then he was 13 years old. | 2011-05-15 16:04:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
Didn't realise it was the 13th until the end of the day Had a perfectly normal day. | 2011-05-15 16:37:00 Author: Radishlord Posts: 706 |
I bet it's placebo. Everyone who had a bad day think about other days. | 2011-05-16 23:28:00 Author: GameRoom Posts: 200 |
I'm not sure why it has to be "Friday the 13th", instead of like, "Monday the 13th" would make away more sense because everyone hates Mondays, signifying the start of the traditional 5 day work week. It seems, largely, to have developed from the Christian mythos. There were thirteen diners at the Last Supper, and Jesus was crucified on a Friday. There are of course references in other cultures; the Wikipedia page here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triskaidekaphobia) should give you some starting points. | 2011-05-16 23:54:00 Author: roux- Posts: 379 |
