A question about screen locking
Archive: 8 posts
Is it possible to be on one side of a level while a 2nd player is out of screen i mean in online play as that is the only way you could or the screen would be extremely zoomed out. or have you heard of multiple spawn points like player 1 could be on the top and player 2 is at the bottom or one on one side the other on the opposite side. It is 4 am so i am sorry for my crude writing. | 2008-08-12 12:45:00 Author: Cartoonguy Posts: 234 |

You can get so far away, and then those that have fallen behind will be "killed", and then they'll respawn at the next spawn point, using that method, if someone in your party is having trouble, he can get dragged along by the person who's further in the level. Ya get me? | 2008-08-12 13:54:00 Author: DrunkMiffy Posts: 2758 |

Ya get me? Exactly... some of the later videos show a little 5 second timer that comes up when a person falls out of screen. Once that counter reaches zero, it disappears and the sackperson appears at the next checkpoint. What's unknown is whether or not the screen will follow you when you get left behind or if you will only see the group and your timer (death-clock?) But what's the point of that when you already have the ability to kill yourself? O_o | 2008-08-13 03:56:00 Author: Stix489 Posts: 2080 |
But what's the point of that when you already have the ability to kill yourself? O_o The point is if an inexperienced player gets too far behind he will die and automatically respawn at the next checkpoint. | 2008-08-13 04:04:00 Author: Triggii Posts: 51 |
The point is if an inexperienced player gets too far behind he will die and automatically respawn at the next checkpoint. Exactly. It's Media Molecule's way of encouraging Co-opetition while still balancing out different skill levels. I don't see me enjoying too many competitive levels like some have suggested, so it's not a problem. This game is going to be fun for me. | 2008-08-13 04:26:00 Author: ConfusedCartman Posts: 3729 |
