			| http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/kotaku/2008/12/pitchblack.jpg I'm a fan of the Riddick franchise. The characters are cool and so is the concept. Now here comes The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, the remake of 2004's Escape from Butcher Bay (Xbox exclusive), a game that I wished I could have played back then. It will be released on the PS3 (as well as 360 and PC) and has a multiplayer feature that I'm sure I am not the only one that is (or will be) excited about: Pitch Black takes place in a large, darkened arena, pitting mercs with flashlights against Riddick, who can of course see in the dark. Players take turns getting torn apart by the Furian badass until one gets in a lucky shot, becoming Riddick at the start of the next round. We wouldn't want to meet Riddick in a darkened area. Oh no. http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/2008/12/custom_1228287231498_Athena_MercBigGun.jpg Source (Kotaku) (http://kotaku.com/5102537/riddicks-pitch-black-multiplayer-sounds-scary-as-****) | 2008-12-05 23:39:00 Author: KAPBAM Posts: 1348 |
