When it came out, I made a couple of Mods.

I made a Rambo, Predator, Sonic and a Leather face, Also a Mad Max car to go with my Armogedon track.

6 weeks of hard work, and only 2 downloads of my track i was left a little disappointed to say the least.

If people think its hard getting noticed on LBP, then wait till they try Modnation. So hard to get plays.

The single player and online races (if there is anybody left on it) are actually a lot of fun.

But its like the post above said, it wasn't the success that people thought it would be.		2011-05-10 00:35:00

Hah. ModNation. I made a really awesome looking Gordon Freeman costume-skin thing (whatever it's called...) and a really cool buggy to go with it (like the thing you drive in HL2). Then I got a new PS3 and went to transfer my save over to the new one. Turns out that even though it copies fine, there's no way to access it (to my knowledge) in game. Needless to say, I was a little peeved that I had spent hours waiting for the game to install on the new PS (plus all the patches) and couldn't even play my game. This game's community is long dead, and not because it simply dwindled, it was killed by UFG.

MNR is a lot like LBP when it comes to creativity. WHen it comes back online, you can check out some of the really cool stuff I've made. Heres one car I produced:

The second one is me and CrazytrainX, who is on the right, using TF2 Spy mods to disguise as each other. As you can see I was a very good creator. Good times...

Unfortunately, this was before the UFG went bananas.

Now like I said, MNR is a lot like LPB2 in creating, but this is especially apparent in the nature of its creators. IE, most of the really good creators such as myself, crazytrainx, digital_wanderer, and about a dozen other highly acclaimed and skilled creators, are all adults, and as such, we behave like adults.

This happens in LBP as well. If you get good griefed for something like that your level gets moderated and they tell you dont do it again. You only move to bans when youre being a VERY serious problem. So throwing around a few four letter words with your buddies in LBP over chat is no big deal, and no one cares. Usually, I do it and I dont even realize it. In my job, swearing is almost a pre-requisite.

But in MNR, anything, ANY sort of behavior, gets you instantly banned for a week. Not a mute, not a ban from that particular game- Your ACCOUNT was banned from PSN. I know UFG can't do this, so that means they were letting SONY do all the handling of the issue. Saying a swear word via voice chat has gotten lots of people banned- Myself included. As such, since most people there, myself included, felt that was an awfully totalitarian way to deal with the issue, creators like RichieAppel, Digital_Wanderer, and everyone else that was any good at making things just sort of drifted away. None of them play it any more, and so there just arent any good creators left. All that remains of the community is children who drive around screaming "D4D"- Which is MNR's equavlent to H4H- and looking at the top mods and top karts always yields at least two creations that should never have seen the light of day, much less the lauded position of Top Mod/Kart. Oftentimes, all THREE slots will be garbage. MNR's community used to be strong with a lot of good creations and creators, but UFG went psycho with the banning and drove away its adult members with overreactionary bans. The community is a husk of what it used to be.		2011-05-12 20:18:00

There was a LBPC 'sister site' for it but CC had to close it because it was very inactive and he didn't have the funds to keep it running. I started a group for a few people from there to join:
