Disable Create Controls in Create Mode
Archive: 11 posts
I have but one small request. If people agree with this, could Mm make it so when you are in create mode, there could be an option in the start menu to disable the create controls. I know this may seem a bit much for a small thing, but I'm trying right now to test something with the D-pad, and I want to see how the logic works when I do it. What do you guys think? | 2011-05-09 19:18:00 Author: maddoggnick96 ![]() Posts: 272 |
Just stick the logic on a piece of light matter and change the settings to switch and cables visible in play mode for all the logic so you can see it in play mode. ![]() | 2011-05-09 20:38:00 Author: ConverseFox ![]() Posts: 2333 |
I think it would be a good idea, I was just trying to test out some dpad logic, and I had to keep switching to play mode. I would like his feature ![]() | 2011-05-10 00:59:00 Author: UberOrbPS ![]() Posts: 290 |
Is the d-pad logic in a controlinator? If so, just turn on disable poppit controls. It disables the d-pad functions for create mode while you are in it. | 2011-05-10 01:59:00 Author: Joey9898 ![]() Posts: 131 |
Is the d-pad logic in a controlinator? If so, just turn on disable poppit controls. It disables the d-pad functions for create mode while you are in it. I can't do this since the controlinator is set to 'nearest player' and this option disables the 'disable poppit' option. | 2011-05-10 02:03:00 Author: UberOrbPS ![]() Posts: 290 |
If you have a second controller, player 2 is able to use the d-pad. Try using a second controller for d-pad testing. | 2011-05-11 12:42:00 Author: lemurboy12 ![]() Posts: 842 |
If you have a second controller, player 2 is able to use the d-pad. Try using a second controller for d-pad testing. But then I have to get up, and get another controller. Sounds like to much to do, as I am lazy ![]() Plus what if you don't have two controllers? Or you have 4 like me and the other 3 are dead? | 2011-05-11 14:42:00 Author: UberOrbPS ![]() Posts: 290 |
I think it would be good if your doing sackboy cutouts. So you dont need to go into play to do them. | 2011-05-11 16:48:00 Author: craigmond ![]() Posts: 2426 |
A few things you could do. If you control a sackbot via remote you can still use the disable controls function and the sackbot can test whatever to see how it works. Also, sackbots being controlled by remote have inputs for c-nator buttons so pretty much anything could activate the d-pad buttons on the sackbot. If you are just looking for a solution for testing, these should work. | 2011-05-12 04:16:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
As the controlinator you are testing does nearest player the best solution would be to simply change the input setting from "nearest player" to another controlinator, make a second controlinator that transmits to the new one, disable popit on that one, and test your D-pad functions. Once you are satisfied, simply change the controlinator back to "nearest player", and it should still work just fine. Hope that helps. | 2011-05-12 11:36:00 Author: the Ion Pulsar ![]() Posts: 172 |
How about disabling create mode for your guests if you don't want them to touch. Like a spectate mode. | 2011-05-12 12:26:00 Author: captain sack ![]() Posts: 88 |
