ok, when PSN finally goes back up... what packs would you guys advise me to get. i want content that isn't in either LBP1 or LBP2 that adds more than just stickers. i'm thinking of the MGS pack but i'm not sure if it actually adds anything other than the paintinator. what other backs are worth the purchase? Pirates of the Carabian?

Hmmm difficult, Pirates of the Caribean is probs a great buy but so is MGS. I would also suggest the Marvel pack.

No costumes with Marvel, I dont think. But you get 1 costume with POTC and a couple in MGS. Both them have sticker, objects etc.

Both them have sticker, objects etc. are all of the things unique to MGS or are some of the materials already in LBP2. i noticed the plazma ball and if i'm not mistaken, it's used in some of the levels in LBP2. would i be wasting my money?

You wouldn't be wasting your money on the marvel, POTC or MGS kits. All of them have AMAZING materials/decorations. I'd recommend the MGS kit as you get some epic materials, and the unique paintinator and paint switch.

thanks guys. what's the paint switch by the way? It's a sensor switch that receives input when shot by the paintinator. It's very similar to the projectile sensor. i'm also trying to get through 'the bunker' in LBP1. Patience, grasshopper. It's actually very easy if you practice enough.

If would strongly recommend the Pirates pack above all others, and then after that the Incredibles for its decorations. PotC had great decorations and materials, plus water in LBP1. The incredibles has fantastic decorations also, but they fit what I build better, so its kinda my personal preference. PotC also has great music, as does the Incredibles, but the Incredibles music doesnt fit very well with most stuff.

i can't thank you guys enough. on another note: i thought there was a code that MM released that could unlock all the content of LBP1. if so... GIVE ME IT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! the Bunkers got me stumped :Frazzzzle:

Pirates of the Carribean's main hook was the water, which is included in LBP2 anyway. It also has fantastic materials, stickers , decoration and music. And 1 costume . Metal Gear Solid has a single costume with it, some pretty great materials etc and some good but overused music. These 2 are the best packs imo so if you had to buy only one, I'd recommend either of these 2. The bunker's really quite easy with a bit of practice, it's virtually all about timing. Oh, have fun acing it

Metal Gear Solid has a single costume with it, some pretty great materials etc and some good but overused music. These 2 are the best packs imo so if you had to buy only one, I'd recommend either of these 2. The pack came with four costumes, level series, and matrials. Along with the History Pack, both came with LBP GOTY verison...
