Should Media Molecule add more musical instruments for the music sequencer? Should there be more instruments like: Tuba Trombone Trumpet Saxophone French Horn Violin Acoustic Guitar Basoon Bugle and many more.... I would be impressed if there would be more instruments. Maybe you can comment what kind of instrument you want to have in LBP 2

Yeah I agree as well String Ensemble A more natural sounding Piano Better Electric Guitar & Bass sounds Acoustic Bass Flute Clarinet and I'm sure there are more that others would name as well but basically more natural instruments would be of great benefits

We'll probably see something like this. MM said that they'll have DLC packs for more music sequencer instruments. Maybe it'll be called something like: Music Sequencer Pack 1: Concert Instruments (lol I suck at names)

For sure! I'm tired of all those "synth-sounds". We want to make real music! I don't know if you caught the thread in question but I recall Fang posting that some of the synth instruments can be changed to their real world counterparts by pressing up/down on the right analog stick or something like that. I'm clueless when it comes to the music sequencer but I'd love more orchestral sounds like what has been suggested.

I think it's actually left/right since pushing up and down changes the volume of the note. Pushing left and right changes its timbre (it's quality of sound). But I do agree with the OP! We need more kinds of instruments! Perhaps Asian instruments can be included some day?

I've said this once, and i'll say it again. I'd much rather more customisation over the sounds we already have, like a master control pannel modifying such things as attack, delay, sustain, cutoff, effects, LFO so on and so forth. It's like that old saying goes, "Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and he will be fed for a lifetime." Except more like "Give a Sackboy more instruments and you will have some more sounds, give a sackboy more controls and he'll have all the sounds he can imagine."

Just a 'brass' instrument would cover a lot of those. I'd also like to see a few kinds of organs, timpani, realistic strings, realistic woodwinds, acoustic guitar, better electric guitar, better piano, acoustic bass & maybe a harmonica...that's all I can think of right now.

I'd very much like a more realistic-sounding violin. Or maybe a voilin group, so just one note would sound like five violins playing. It would make scenes much more sadder if you didn't want to use pre-made cinematic music.

Orchestral music pack is kinda a most. The greatest music is orchestral example , Starwars:star: Not every song in starwars but you know what I'm talking about, right?

I think if they do make a DLC would probably call it Music Pack 2 - although I'm not sure if that would have more sequencer music or some more interactive music.
