I think they're getting there. By that I mean, I can see where you're trying to go and what you're trying to do with them (at least, I hope so

) and I like it but it's just not quite there yet.

Some of the effects and additions look a bit like they've been put on top of the picture instead of actually being part of the picture. Not sure if the images are in the order of when you made them but I can see a definite improvement on the last three (bart, kara, skyrim) compared to the others.

Add some shading and colour variations to the text/images and I think they'd look even better. Btw what program are you using?

I just started with this stuff, and I wanna try to improve, learn how to put different pieces of Images together using different programs

Oh, and just these Images, all of them, I was using Picnik (http://www.picnik.com/app#/home/welcome) But I have access to: Sumo Paint (http://www.sumopaint.com/home/) And a demo version of Photoshop, that came already on my Lap-Top, but it doesn't have much to it. GIMP 2. Magic Photo Editor. And Paint of course

But all I've used on these Images is Picnik, I don't have Premium though

But all those programs I listed, and the main one, Picnik, I'd like to take an Image one day, and use all the programs to put something the program is unique for

It's okay to mess things up, you learn

Love the background picture. Good choice. As a note, avatars are really really small and square (At the biggest on this site, it's 125x125 pixels). (Unless you meant something else.) You may want to either crop the picture, scale the picture down, or find a different picture. Signatures are more long than tall. I generally have 150x500 pixels.

Putting in the Skyrim Logo would be a VERY good thing. It connects the picture to the game. I could tell you one or two ways to do it in GIMP, but I dunno how to do it in the others as much. (Photoshop is pretty much the same way as GIMP.) For not knowing how, you picked an interesting text to go with it. I would suggest looking at the logo and trying to match it to the logo text color next time though.

I like the glow at the border. The color does really well with the foresty/ruins, but it might look even better if you made it a darker green, or a greyish color (due to the ruins being grey).

The border kind of anchors the picture down, so it looks good. I wouldn't say to always put it in, but if you feel like it needs something, and you can't figure it out, you can try putting that border in.

It's not really what you did wrong, it's more of a critique. (I prefer to critique than to say what's wrong straight up. It feels kinder than saying 'THIS IS WRONG!!&apos

I will also note that I may be completely wrong, and everything I said might not work at all. It's easier to tell in the middle of working the picture than at the end.

Sure!

I'll tell you how I do it in GIMP
(You'll want the layers window open)
What I normally do is copy or download the picture. If you downloaded it, you need to open it, and copy it from there. You will paste the image onto the one you want it on. after you've pasted it, it's be a floating layer, or a layer that's not very workable yet. You'll wanna hit 'new layer' at this point, and it'll make the copied image into a layer.
Then you edit it however you like, whether it be erasing stuff, or resizing it, or whatever else you need to do.
Just make sure that whenever you wanna edit the other layer you select it in the layers window.
When you say new layer, and then past it onto it, then anchor it, it only keeps what you had on the screen at the time you anchored it. So kinda stay away from that when you're doing this.

Hey Sackgirl i was just wondering why my sig shrunk down is there anyway to get it to normal form?

is it nothing to do with the dimension limit or the size limit? I think if it goes over it'll shrink it down so that it fits. You might need to set up the document in photoshop yourself so that you know its correct.

Hmm I'm not sure, I've realised my sig is small to. If you go to your settings it says all signatures should be between 500 and 100 pixels which mine is, but then it says or under 9k in size. 9k for a picture is quite impossible, even if you make your imagery really pixelated it still is higher than that.

If your image is higher than 9k or the dimension pixels, then I think the image is automatically resized.

The only way I know how to do this is to add it to your lbpc photos and copy the BBCode, hope this works.

The best way I know is to copy the Image URL and then paste it in IMG tags, instead of SIG tags. It'll pop it back up to normal size.

I suggest red text, possibly with white marks, and shiny to fit Blues. (I know him as Protoman EXE. http://megaman.neoseeker.com/w/i/megaman/e/ed/Protoman_EXE.jpg

Either you'll have to crop it to his head/shoulders, or you'll have to make ol' blues smaller. Unfortunately, making an image smaller sometimes messes up the quality of the picture, so you might have to sharpen it a bit too.
You might throw a red to white gradient in the background for effect too

Should be able to. You go to it, click on the picture in my gallery, and it'll pop up with a larger version of it. Click on it again, and it'll go to max size (which is the same size anyway, I'm pretty sure. Oh well

) and on the lower right side, there's an option to download it. Or, after you've clicked on it the first time, you can just right-click and say save picture. Your choice.

I'm getting the "Remote file too large" message. I know I'm probably getting annoying asking so many questions, but could you resize it or something? Or do I need a profile upgrade?

Are you using IMG tags or SIG tags? SIG doesn't like using images this big, and it generally shrinks images anyways. IMG tags work better, you just need an external source for it to base the image off of. If it still doesn't work...I guess you can just use the resize sackgirlsrule made.

huh...it's not supposed to be 500x500. SackGirlsRule's is actually 500x125, but it should still work.
I can resize it to a 400x100 (to keep proportions), since the server is giving you problems:

Also, for the anti-gravity tweekers. You can press Start>All the way down>(Check) Preview Mode. And it'll make all the switches disappear as it's in Play mode. Or you could put invisable dark matter behind the letters.

I couldn't help notice, but when I was skimming through the forum and saw that you were taking requests, I couldn't resist. My request is for my avatar pic. Can you make something terrifying (like a ghost that pops out of nowhere, a bloody zombie eating somebody, etc.) that's also animated?
