I came up with a new concept just as soon as I finished my first level. A level that takes place on a magical hill where you basically jump up on a big hill, covered with mushrooms and flowers, there will be spinning flowers placed strategecly so that you can reach secret areas high into the clouds and collect secret goodies. The hill will have some badies aswell - mushroom people that walks around trying to knock you out, haven't planned on how yet but I got an idea that involves gas, think of it as deadly spores that they release from time to time. At the top of the hill. (High above the clouds) you reach a hot air balloon that you use to go even higher. You float up into the sky, past the spinning happy faced sun up into the cosmic plain of existense where rainbows and lollipops float around and here you do a series of spaced out puzzles and jumping on bizarre enemies until you reach the end where the boss awaits you and then that's that. Planning on calling it "Mushroom Dream" I thought it was a pretty far out idea for a level, what do you guys think?

It certainly is a far out idea, but it's full of great imagery and imagination. Many of the concepts you mentioned would be very easy to turn into good gameplay. I say go for it. Sounds like a great idea.

Alright, I've started working on the level today, The hill is 3 layered, front middle and back so you will have to shift as you jump up the hill. Sadly I could not make the hill as big as I wanted since it kept saying that it was getting to complex so I'm experimenting with other solutions, one I found quite neat was to make a series of hills you had to conquer. The first hill covered with mushrooms both decorative and evil living ones topped with a giant flower on the top that you also have to climb that says someone stole his nightlight when he was sleeping and he wants you to help him find it since he is afraid of the dark...Yeah, don't ask how I came up with that. Anyway, the level takes place during the night time so it will be dark and there will be pretty lights to guide you around. You take the bridge that connects the first hill to the second one, and on the second hill you use spinning flowers to get to the top where you find a clue then move on to the third hill, and here is where the puzzles starts, you do puzzles for around 5 or 6 hills then get to the boss and take the nightlight back.
