Mario, the loveable plumber that never does his job. He's one of the most recognisable gaming characters in history and has been involved in some of the best games ever. But one of the most famous is Super Mario 64, and today i'm going to tell you about the rumours about the game, and if they're true or not. lets start with number 5: Super Mario 64 Beta Rumour According to the internet, Super Mario 64 Beta was the unreleased version of Super Mario 64. Yes, Miyamoto(Creator of Mario) said in an interview that he wanted to make the game multiplayer able, but after testing and testing just couldn't get the game to play 2 player. So the team scrapped the idea altogether.

Luigi is Playable As Luigi has been in Mario games since day 1, players thought that when they bought Super Mario 64 and played it theyed find te green plumber somewhere. Obviously they didn't. But some fanatics believed that Luigi was hidden somewhere in the game. http://mydisguises.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/super-smash-bros-luigi-1.jpg Somewhere out there... So they searched the game hi and low until they found the message on the star statue: http://images.wikia.com/mario/it/images/e/e6/L_is_Real_2041.png This reads "L is for real 2401" according to fanatics. There were some wierd ways of finding Luigi on the internet, here are some of those theories: In the endless stairway(once you've gotten enough stars), run to the top and turn around. Now jump into that way 2401 times and the Bowser painting should turn into Luigis portrait. Jump in and you should get the chance to start a new game playing Luigi! Get all the stars in Files A, B and C but not D. Then start a new game file on D and you will be playing Luigi Collect 2401 to turn into Luigi(theres about 2376 coins in the game). But is it true? Yes...sort of. The statue was saying that Luigi was in the game, just not this one. It was actually referencing that Luigi was in Super Paper Mario, which was in production at the time it was released. the 2401 bit was about the original release date.
