Hey guys I bet you probably know this but you can play PS1 games on a PS3. So now I can play my beloved Medievil2 on the PS3. I bought the Medievil1 from PS store because my disc was scratched.

Ooo... wish I could play Medievil1. I got the remake on psp but it sucks so bad... might consider buying it from the store when it's back up.

I will never fully understand why Sony gave the PS3 backwards compatibility to PS1 games and not PS2 games.

Glad I've got one of the PS3 models that plays PS2 games. And I know I've probably said this a few times but I'm still annoyed that Sony hasn't released Einhander on PSN outside of Japan.

The emotion engine, which is used to run PS2 games, is pretty expensive and was part of the reason the PS3 used to have such a huge price tag.
