Level overheat Question. . .

Archive: 6 posts

I'm a little curious, and also a little worried, about my latest levels.

Now, My thermo is okay, not exactly half empty but okay. when playing through my level in play mode I get no display issues, no exclamation marks or anything.

However, when in create if I happen to zoom out, so that a fair amount of my level is displayed on screen, I get the "too complicated" message.

I just want to check because I'm worried that my level will be affected when published - is this just because the game is displaying so much at once in this instance? So in normal play, where the camera is zoomed in, is this likely to happen? My instincts say that it's just me asking too much of the game to display the whoel level at once, but I just want to be sure so that if I'm wrong I can go back and simplify a bit.

Many thanks

I guess its probably because your seeing the whole picture which to complicated to fit on the screen. It probably wont affect your level.2011-05-08 12:32:00

as long as the framerate isnt slowing down in play mode it will be fine, it is simply trying to display too much at once when you zoom out, as long as you don't zoom out in play mode it shouldnt cause any issues.2011-05-08 12:45:00
