Basically a Sensor that reads the time or date on the hosts PS3 and then creates an output accordingly. I think this would be useful for exploration or puzzle levels which change depending on the season/(afternoon, morning etc)

That would be very cool and would proboably make people create alot of free-roam levels with winter and summer changing features. Maybe you could choose a date like the 25 of december, or even someone's birthday. It might be a bit 'soon' for Mm to design it though, if they do - maybe build it up somehow with other ideas until it gets to this big idea.

Sounds like interesting idea and actually be useful, good if would have few modes, Date to Date, Time to Time everyday, Day of the week. Thru you can't relay on it for security, same as you able to cheat on secret pins they same you will be able to cheat on that

I thought of something like this before. I think it would be a good idea. I can see something like a free roam level with day and night effects. And say at 21:00 a nightclub would be open to go to with a band playing or something. From 7:00 to 18:00 stores could be open, or whatever. It could snow from December through February and be nice out June through August. It could add some realism to levels.

This is a great idea!! I've thought about this myself. I never thought about seasons, but just being able to shift from day to night would be amazing.
