Binary Clock

Archive: 5 posts

So, even though this is totally random, I wanna get a binary clock. Mainly so when people ask me what time it is, I can show them my watch and they'll be like "wth is up with all the dots?" and I can laugh at them.

So, do you guys think this is a good idea?

Not sure why you would use dots since the actual 1's and 0's are just as good. Plus there would be the part where you would have to learn binary to the point where you're able to look at it and instantly know what the base 10 equivalent is. Overall, more work than necessary.2011-05-02 02:06:00

I rember when i was in 6th or 7th grade, when my science teacher only had a binary clock in the room to tell the time. I know what binary is and it takes me a little bit to tell time. Plus, binary is so easy to do in LBP.
You should get one, it is a good idea.

I'm good at reading binary clocks (with the dots) at a glance, but not as good at actual binary code itself, but I suppose the highest number would be 59 - 111011, so that wouldn't be so bad.2011-05-02 02:20:00

Someone should make one of these in LBP along with a counter that uses a base 12 number system just to be an *******.2011-05-02 18:18:00
