Well, the time has come again to follow my last thread about Assassin's Creed Brotherhood which i started last year. I have been carefully researching today for information, and this is literally breaking new's people. Ubisoft has been 'outed' for it's newest console title which has been named Assassin's Creed Revelations this is leaked information, so no offical news yet, but it has been said that the title would have been announced early may.

When read backwards, that Arabic text says Altair's full name. That would be cool if he was involved again.2011-04-30 22:09:00

Well the Arabic text must mean that the middle east is returning. Bye bye Ezio possibly? He is getting pretty old for roof climbing! If they do bring Altair back hopefully they give him a personality this time 2011-05-01 15:59:00

True. It could just be that Altair is getting more than one flashback and it actually has a somewhat pivotal role in the plot this time, lol.

Bayezid II, the Just, Ottoman Sultan
Life 1447-12-03 ? 1512-05-26
Reign 1481 ? 1512
Succeeded Selim I

Quarrel with brother Cem over throne. Cem sought help from Pope Innocent VIII (1484 ? 1492) i.e. the Pope before Rodrigo Borgia who reigned as Pope 1492 ? 1503. Innocent failed to launch crusade against Ottoman expansion in eastern Europe, and Cem (used as a tool) died in an Italian prison.

Had to deal with series of rebellions in Asia supported by the Persian Shah.

He brought Arab and Jew refugees to the Ottoman Empire who were fleeing Spain under the Spanish Inquisition (1480 ? 1820!). These refugees did much to enhance the development of the empire in the coming decades. on 15 June 1511, the Spanish Inquisition ordered convicted Jews to emigrate to America, after paying for their lives with 80,000 ducats. I'm assuming this event will tie in with Bayezid II.

Pope Alexander VI (Rodrigo Borgia) died on 18 August 1503. Cesare Borgia was preparing for another military expedition but himself and his father dined with Cardinal Adriano da Corneto on 6 August 1503, after which the two of them fell ill. Cesare recovered but Rodrigo was too old and his case worsened. Reportedly, Cesare poisoned him with cantarella, originally intended for the death of Cardinal Adriano, who somehow escaped its effects.

On 14 September 1509, a catastrophic earthquake occurred in the Hellespont which devastated Constantinople, Galipoli and many other towns, in particular those situated on the European coasts of the Sea of Marmara. In Constantinople, thousands of houses collapsed together with a large portion of the city?s walls. The city?s aqueduct and many public buildings were also destroyed. Large portions of some towns on the coast sunk into the ground, and many houses were engulfed in chasms which the shock had opened in the ground. The town of Tschorum disappeared entirely into one of these chasms. With the first shock, the sea rushed inland, over the walls, and flooded the streets in the city as well as many settlements outside the walls. The Galatas District was heavily damaged by the tsunami which caused a great number of casualties in the region. From historical narrations, it appears that the shock was not of any exceptional magnitude. It was the down-town residential quarters which collapsed, and the walls by the shore which themselves were by that time unstable structures. The sea inundated the city where its walls were already thrown down by the shock, and that in no other part of the coast the wave caused any concern. The catastrophe was known as ?The Small End of the World? or ?Little Apocalypse?, and lasted for about 45 days. The city was almost completely reconstructed in 1510 by 80,000 workers employed by Sultan Bayezid II, and therefore many historical monuments today date from this period. A recent re-evaluation of the long-term seismicity of the greater Marmara region over the last 2000 years has identified 15 earthquakes of similar magnitudes that caused damage to the city. These events include the 1509 earthquake, for which no macro-seismic or tectonic evidence has been found. The correct date for earthquake is in fact 10 September 1509 at about 10pm, the date indicated by chroniclers of the event is due to the speed of communications at the time (about 40km/day).

His sons Selim and Ahmed vied for the succession. After a victory over rebels, Ahmed rode the feelings of the army and marched toward Constantinople. Selim tried to divert his attention with a staged rebellion at Thrace, but was defeated and fled to the Crimea. The Sultan did not allow Ahmed into Constantinople, fearing for his own life. Selim garnered support from the Janissaries, and when he returned to Constantinople, forced his father to abdicate the throne on 25 April 1512. Bayezid abdicated and decided to leave Constantinople for his home region, but died within one of the city?s districts en route on 26 May 1512.

Selim I, the Steadfast, Ottoman Sultan
Life 1465/1466/1470-10-10 ? 1520-09-22
Reign 1512 ? 1520
Succeeded Suleiman I

Subjugated the Persian Shah Ismail, established dominance of Sunni Islam in the Middle East. He then annexed Syria, Palestine and Egypt by conquering the Mamluk Sultanate. Then he extended power over the holy cities of Mecca and Medina in 1517.

After the Egyptian campaign, Selim began preparations for an expedition into Christian Hungary. The expedition was aborted when he fell ill and died. Some sources say he died of a skin infection called sirpence, while other historians claim he was poisoned by the doctor who was tending to his skin infection.

Suleiman I, the Magnificent, Ottoman Sultan
Life 1494-11-06 ? 1566-09-05/06
Reign 1520-09-30 ? 1566-09-05/06
Succeeded Selim II

He became a prominent monarch of 16th century Europe, presiding over the apex of the Ottoman Empire?s military, political and economic power. He personally led Ottoman armies to conquer the Christian strongholds of Belgrade, Rhodes (Knights Hospitallers), and most of Hungary before he was stopped at the Battle of Vienna (Austria) in 1529. This effectively halted the spread of Islam into western Europe. He annexed most of the Middle East in his conflict with the Persian Safavids, as well as large portions of North Africa even to Algeria. Under his rule, the Ottoman navy was the dominant sea power in the Mediterranean, including the Red Sea and the Persian Gulf (where he encountered conflict with the Portuguese in India).

He personally instituted legislative changes relating to society, education, taxation, and criminal law. In the East he is known as the Lawgiver. His canonical law fixed the form of the empire for centuries after his death. He spoke six languages including Arabic. In a break with Ottoman tradition, he married a harem girl, Roxelana, whose intrigues as Queen in court and power of the Sultan made her feared by her enemies. One of these intrigues resulted in the Sultan executing his own friend and Grand Vizier, and led to the ultimate succession to the throne of her son, Selim II

the next part of the reveal has been unlocked, take a look.

Woo boy, so it begins...
Ze cow milking begins!

Rather than just making AC 3, they're gonna make tons of little in-between stories that advance the story little to nothing, until everyone's bored of Ezio and Altair, and whoever else they introduce, if they introduce someone else.

Ayup, I was right not to buy AC brotherhood, which was mostly just to test the MP subject.

Why? It was a fun game that both introduced plenty of new elements to the franchise and did a great job of advancing the storyline.

Assassin's Creed Revelations Release Date Info & Screenshot (http://gamerant.com/assassins-creed-revelations-release-date-seb-82870/)

Assassin’s Creed Revelations will enter the final chapter in Ezio Auditore’s life as he follows in the footsteps of legendary master assassin, Altair – the protagonist of the first Assassin’s Creed – on a journey of discovery and revelation. His travels will take him far away from Italy to the city of Constantinople at the heart of the Ottoman Empire.

The multiplayer experience that helped define Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood will also make a return with more modes, more maps and more characters for would be assassins to test their skills with.

All three of Desmond, Altair and Ezio will be playable in Revelations, which seems to confirm that Altair is making a return in a big way for this game. This might also mean that we will be exploring Constantinople in two time periods, with sections played by Altair revealing important clues or hidden items that Ezio finds in the future, relatively speaking.

With so much dedicated to this title, it’s to be expected that Revalations is a game that Ubisoft wants to shine, and not just act a placeholder while fans wait for Assassin’s Creed 3 to finally be announced.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations is going to make our minds melt once again when in it releases in November of this year for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Expect more details to come when Game Rant goes to E3 this year.

- Ezio is looking for seals in Revelations. These seals hold the memories of Alair. They'll allow Ezio to peek into Altair's life (just as Desmond uses Animus to peek into his ancestors lives).
- You'll control Altair through these sequences.
- The bulk of the game is set in Constantinople which will be split into 4 huge districts (Constantin, Beyazid, Imperial and Galata)
- You'll also visit Cappadocia
- Ezio is over 50 years old in this game
- Ezio has a new item called the hookblade which allows him to use ziplines throughout the city. UBI says that it speeds up navigation by about 30%
- You can also use the hookblade to reach out and pull enemies in for a combo
- Ezio can now make bombs through a crafting system. UBI says that there are over 300 bomb types
- They've modified the control scheme so that circle/B will control the hookblade and triangle/Y will control project weapons and bombs
- Eagles vision has become eagle sense. "Eagle sense let's you focus on a character and see where he's been," Amancio says. "You'll get an approximation of where he will go. If you're able to detect the path a guard will take, you can run ahead, set a bomb, and create a trap or an ambush."
- They've expanded on the Borgia Towers concept in order to create a new system. Throughout the city there are Assassin's Den's, you'll need to complete various assault scenarios in order take down the Templar presence (UBI says that there's more variety than in the Borgia Towers). Once you obtain a den you'll be able to upgrade the buildings in that region along with adding ziplines across the rooftops. You'll also be able to change the guards from being hostile to neutral.
- You can lose control of you dens as you gain notoriety. You'll be able to send your own troops after the templars if you're unable to make it back to the specific den that's being attacked. You can do that by making it to any of the other dens that you currently control. You'll also be able to install a master assassin to control a specific den and you'll never have to worry about it being taken over.
- The assassin leveling mechanic has been increased from 10 to 15
- In order to make the world more immersive they've done away with traditional side missions in favor of random events. For example you may be traveling through a city and notice a shop owner being robbed or a little girl asking for help
- They're using a new type of capture facial technology called Mocam that GI describes as an "intriguing amalgamation of traditional animation, performance capture and the fascinating new style of performance on display in games like LA Noire."
- Desmond is placed back inside Animus where he finds a safe mode called the 'Black Room'. You'll be able to access Desmond's lost memories through that back door
- The gameplay during Desmond's game is described as narrative-fueled puzzle sequences. "Through the manipulation and creation of geometry with the game world, Desmond seeks to reintegrate the splintered layers of his subconscious."
- Multiplayer is returning but this time they're trying to give more focus to the narrative since that's a big part of AC
- You'll be able to custom your character appearance and weapons as well as create guilds.

Meh. I'm rather tired of Ezio.
I'd honestly prefer playing as a new Assasin born into the order - using these seals to view Ezio & Altair.

Lol? You would much rather be playing as Desmond, who is playing as a new assassin, who is playing as Ezio/Altair? Too many layers Ide say

Anyway, so from what I read Desmond's mind has been a bit shattered from Brotherhood's events? Wondering how his reputation with his geek squad will be after that :/

Although I would love to finally see AC3 and the direction Ubi will take the story I like what I have read so far about Revelations and will probably pick it up. I loved Brotherhood and thought it was better then AC2 so hopefully the trend continues. 300 bomb types sounds insane, Mocam tech is a very welcome addition, hookblade will add some variety and Constantinople is a fantastic location.

BTW Pbear, you should have mentioned that info game from the NeoGAF forums which in turn came from the latest issue of Game Informer, always give credit where it's due

I like AC, and am excited but brotherhood bored me witless. Hopefully some new interesting characters ad plots will arise to shake things up a bit, although i think it would be better if they steered away from ezio and altair

*Minor Spoilage

- Revelations isn?t Assassin?s Creed 3
- Revelations is supposed to clear things up to this point
- Closing to the stories for characters
- There is a great deal of Templar activity in Constantinople, battling the Ottoman
- Constantinople is more populated than Rome
- Game kicks off as Ezio heads to Masyaf
- Ezio is trying to find information on Altair/the Creed
- Ezio learns that Masyaf has been overrun by Templars
- He later finds out that there is a very powerful artifact hidden in Masyaf
- Needs 5 ancient seals to get access to the artifcat
- Templars are interested in the artifact as well
- Ezio will have new friends in the game such as Suleiman, Yusuf Azim, Sofia Sorto
- Yusuf Azim: master assassin
- Sofia Sorto: Sorto makes Ezio question what his life would be like if he wasn?t an assassin
- More in-depth assassins
- You can participate in the random events (girl asking for help, someone being robbed, etc.), or you can ignore them
- Cinematic camera is getting changed
- Desmond is in a coma following the events in Brotherhood
- Desmond is essentially trapped in his own mind once the assassins place him into an animus
- While Desmond tries to put his mind back together, he looks for a ?nexus? which explains how Ezio, Altair, and himself are connected
- Expect an improved multiplayer mode
- Multiplayer focusing more on the story-side of things now so that players can get a more detailed look at the Templars and what they stand for
- New game mode features multiplayer story quests
- More customization as well as more characters

This seems awesome
I played all the first three AC games, and i love the story.
Also i'm glad they bring back multiple cities, Rome was cool and big and all but didn't have much variety. But the battle/combo system of Brotherhood is the coolest ever xD.

Also idk if you know that, but Ubisoft hinted with the map coordinates that are given in the end of the brothehood DLC, that AC3 would have something to with the american/french revolution..

We decided in this opus of the franchise to actually give the players a lot of the answers that they’ve sort of been thirsting for ever since AC II. A lot of things were set up with Minerva, with Juno, a lot of the details about the end of the world plotline in 2012 – as we’re getting closer and closer to the actual 2012 marker, the franchise is also concluding its major opus. So this game is sort of where we’re setting all the record straight.

We’re sort of closing all of the loops that have been started. We’re going to reveal not only a lot of stuff about the first civilization plot-line, but we’re actually going to conclude the Ezio, the Altair storylines, and we’re going to sort of explain why Ezio is such an important character for the franchise, what his actual role is in all of that plotline, what role Altair plays in that destiny, and ultimately, what role Desmond plays in all that stuff.

So we’re sort of creating a nexus if you will in Revelations that will sort of align the destinies of all three major characters of the franchise and in one fell swoop we’re going to reveal a lot of the elements that surround that mystery.

Source (http://gamerant.com/assassins-creed-revelations-ezio-altair-ac-3-new-character-benk-84012/)

Still as excited as ever for this.

Trailer definitely looked awesome.

More details on the Assassin Dens:

http://gamerant.com/assassins-creed-revelations-assassins-dens-explained-seb-86674/

The Borgia Towers played an important role in Assassin?s Creed: Brotherhood as strongholds that increased the number of guards in a region, and restricting Ezio?s access to shops, banks, stables, and underground tunnels in the surrounding area. These will be making a return in Assassin?s Creed Revelations as Assassin?s Dens ? hidden locations around Constantinople that serve as bases of operations for the Assassins in the city.

While the Dens are under Assassin control, Ezio will have the ability to upgrade shops in the area just like in Brotherhood, but these shops will once again have multiple tiers of upgrades, like Monteriggioni?s shops in Assassin?s Creed 2.

The Dens are going to be under constant threat of Templar attack, and as Ezio?s notoriety rises, so too will the risk of them being captured. If control of a Den is lost Ezio will lose the ability to upgrade surrounding buildings, and more neutral Ottoman guards will be replaced with aggressive Byzantine guards allied with the Templars.

Ezio will be able to go in personally to defend Dens or if the player can?t be bothered to defend these strongholds, there will be an option to send assassin recruits to repel the Templar attacks. This defense system will work just like the assassin missions in Brotherhood did, with the percentage chance of victory decided by who is sent to defend the Den.

And more info on Assassin Recruits and missions:

Assassins will once again have a leveling system in place, but instead of 10 levels the assassins in Revelations will have a level cap of 15. Once they reach level 10 they will attain the rank of master assassin and be able to defend Assassin Dens. A welcome addition to the formula from Brotherhood is the more unique personalities the assassins will possess, sometimes requesting that you go on missions with them, and players will also be given the ability to customize them to a greater extent.

Here?s where it gets really interesting, and perhaps even a little confusing. As you unlock more Assassin?s Dens around Constantinople you will gain access to missions outside of the city that span the greater Templar/Assassin war across the Mediterranean. Other cities are fighting their own battles, and you will be able to fight for districts in those cities. The way these battles are played out is still yet to be revealed, but apparently the player will be able to participate in the outcome of these battles, or let the AI handle it on its own.

Surprised no one's mentioned this yet, but the multiplayer beta starts tomorrow (September 3rd) for all PS+ and Uplay members. I believe Uplay members should have received emails with a redeem code already and PS+ members can download it directly from the PS+ section of the store tomorrow when it starts.

yes its very improved
after getting killed you spend less time respawning chest capture is a favioute the customisation is very good but not much for beta
you spend points from matchs to earn embelm pieces loadouts character customisation abilitys perks streaks
but the characters are not as good as brotherhoods and faced some loading problems it NEEDS MORE PLAYERS GET ON IT DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ITS A MUST

Yea i played it and honestly i think its way better than Brotherhood. It keeps people off of the roofs and let the people that actually act like assassins win matches more easily. I got a separate PSN account for games like ACB

Its HighProfile-, you may have played with me before since its a pretty hard name to miss. You can add me though, i save my LBP2 profile just for LBP2 friends--Guess you can add me there too if you want lol

Sorry I haven't been around and updating the threads with all the new cool trailers and demos, even the Beta gameplays from Gamescom and others. But I along with others have been working along side Ubisoft to make the multiplayer the best it can be.2011-09-12 10:37:00
