Remote Control Sackbot with Logic on Chip Help: Switching Controllinators?

Hey guys. I'm making a level with a remote control sackbot, but I am having trouble with deaths. The sackbot has logic on it's circuit board, like double jump, etc, but they require the transmitting controllinator to be hooked up directly to the chips. My question to you is: How can I switch controllinators so there is no awkward player death(ie using a tag sensor and destroyer to destroy the hologram.)? | I can't do pictures right now since PSN is down but I can try to explain. You can wire the buttons required to perform actions on the transmitting controlinator to tags. Tags can be activated by inputs. Then on the receiver, set up tag sensors (with the range turned up really high) and use those to activate your chips on the sackbot.
