New Tools for People who don't like logic as much

Hi again.

Suggestions!

New powerups:

The Power Boots ( or Jumpinators ): Will allow you to run faster ( a tad bit; tweakable ), jump higher ( can perform stunts ) and slam attack mode. ( tweakable ) It can be decorated.

New logic.

Sackboy Tweaker: Allows to make sackboy perform an action or turn around ( etc ).

One Shot Gate: The description's in the title
Sackbot Tweaker: Allows a sackbot to swin, had an option to change a costume. DOESN'T ALLOW COPYING!! . Allows to select an action to be performed.
Sackbot Editor: Allows a sackboy to change the characteristics of a character ( sackbot ). Like how you made story characters.

Slap Sensor: Detects Slapping ( sackbot can have this only )

Dialogue Sensor: Detects a specific or a type of dialogue said or texted.



Tools Edit Suggestions: Gas can be optional in a danger tweaker. A object that is glued can be unglue when a material tweaker is on non-stick ( or does that work now ). A prize bubble(s) can now be triggered by a sensor (!?). A prize bubble can contain costumes and decorations ( costume pieces have to be owned already ). You can make a sticker like in the blank-background-in-a-sticker-glitch. You can make music or micros go in the tools bag. A new community section for decorations, tools, and costumes. You can have objects in a pod but not near the spawn area. A close level gate's style can be tweaked and race gates too!
Grab sensors can require al players. If a player isn't there and a sackbot was assgined to copy that player, the sackbot will not appear and will skip the dialogue or actions. You can make your own character animations.

Snapshot cameras can be triggered by a sensor. Simleys are on lbp2. Magic mouths can have pink text ( able to select text in tweak menu ). When a brain is on an object and object is glued don't let the ridged connections kill the other glued object ( unless selected in tweak menu; Rigid Connections? Yes no or some; some will allow you to select them ).

More New Tools! Advanced Sticker Tweaker ( tweaks able to delete in play; Color; animation speed if contained; if one of those sackbot eyes are selected ,ZzZzZ, you can tweak the text and color and animate speed. Can be fowards and backwards. Decorations (lights and animated ones) can be tweaked. A creature leg and wheel can be tweaked. A creature navigator can be tweaked. )

Some of these ideas are cool, but some already exist and can be pretty easily made.
-Power boots: take a controllable sackbot, up the running speed, put on an anti-grav tweaker set to a weak setting.
-One shot gate: already exists, you can find them in multiple logic showcases
-Sackbot editor: You can already give the sackbot story costumes
-Slap sensor: I'm not exactly sure how to do this but it does exist
-With the creature brain, instead of using a brain to kill the object, use a destroyer without rigid connections on.

Asides from those ones, the rest are pretty cool. And I geuss some of the above ones would be a bit more useful if they were made into official objects. It is a bit annoying to hunt through my objects to find a one shot chip.

New Idea!
Make a level for you-inator.
For those who don't wanna think of how to make levels, use it, BAM, instant level, no need to do anything, that way, everyone makes awesome levels, and everyone gets recognition!

Hi, I'm here to say that you can adjust the speed of the sackbot stickers, the heart, the zZzZzZ, and others can be adjusted by placing them on hologram material, then adjust the animation speed of the hologram material, that will affect the sticker as well. A prize bubble(s) can now be triggered by a sensor (!?).
They already can. Like the tags able to be on/off, it's like LBP1 except an input is attached.

To get a prize bubble with a sensor you have to kind of rig something up, but it should work by you emitting the prize bubble on to a sackbot that is set to idle.

Also if you don't like logic we all could have had lbp 1 free... Just saying it has the simpler stuff.

I haven't worked with sackbots, so I don't know, but slap sensor is useful no?

But we should have threads about: More logic tools for people who like logic so much!

the only thing on this list that i would love is the sackboy turn around but change that to sackbot turn around. It would help so much as you woudnt have to make your sackbot sitting in a controllinator for it to be facing the other way.2011-07-16 20:26:00

I know how to use this logic, but i'm saying this for others. I have so many friends and met players who suck at logic. Believe me I've build alot of logic based stuff. So don't even go there2011-10-24 23:18:00

.... The one shot gate made me want to bang my head into the desk repeatedly. Seriously.. Route through a counter set to 1. One shot. Resettable.. so easy a five year old could use it.

I agree with the deco tweaker though. Should be there already.

I've suggested the boots too. A sack-bot takes too much thermo for such things, and does the change poorly. There are many power ups that should have been added with the grabbies.

Players grabbing sensor is a good idea too (just tweak grab sensor for players required. However, this can be done with a player sensor to a lesser degree.
