as the title suggests, instead of just having R1 to grab and swing, why not have L1 to lock the tether at a set length. this would have been perfect as swinging at the moment is a bit frustrating

Really? I've aced pretty much all levels and have no problem with the hook as I know how it works. Practice on the Tower of Woop.

I agree with the op. its really annoying trying to use the hook to gain momentum as whilst you swing back and for you often end up realing it in and loosing all the momentum you've jut gained. it was severly frustrating for me when trying to collect prizes and ace.

For me the controls are very simple, and intuitive. I don't see the need to complicate them at all.

I agree it is frustrating with momentum but the controls are fine I think.
