Deduced what the 1.05 update has done with the tipoff from LittleBigWorkshop poster njm1992. Star Ratings now WORK!! http://www.luckettopia.com/LBPimseeingstars.jpg http://www.luckettopia.com/LBPtheyshinesobright.jpg Theyre displayed in the top right hand corner of a level, and also serve as confirmation that before this point Star Ratings were not being recorded at all, since levels not voted on today still have a blank space and no star rating. Naughty MM thinking they could slip this past my ever watchful eye! So everyone, get voting with those Stars to ensure great levels have 5 Stars while the bilge get 1 (i am looking at you, worthless Trophy levels on the front page!)

Amazing news. Thanks for the update, and the pics Luckett. This should make things a lot better. But I wonder if this does in fact put in factor the Page 1 = 5 Star Levels, Page 2, etc = 4 stars....And so on. Edit: >_> +Rep That should do.

This probably isn't going to affect how Cool Levels is laid out, that'll take a much bigger update than this, but at least now at quick glance you'll have a fair idea of a levels quality rather than quantity of plays and hearts.

And the same people that hearted them will probably rate them 5stars as well just because they're trophy levels. How many comments are we gonna see now on levels saying i 5stared you can you do it to my level. Just like we see the hearts being abused

Just like we see the hearts being abused I've thought about people asking for 5-stars... but then something occurred to me. Most of the people begging for hearts are probably just looking to get the hearts-related trophies. Since there's no trophies associated to the level's star rating... maybe, just maybe, people won't beg for it. It's quite likely that the trophy levels will get 5-stars from people who heart them. But now we have a weapon against them, we can rate them down, which will lower their overall rating, something we couldn't do with the hearts Edit : This just in, Sackbook is now displaying the star rating of levels too!

Seriously I have almost NEVER looked to the Cool Levels page to find levels to play, I go through contacts and their hearted levels and creators and so on. Been working just fine so far, but then what's the Cool Levels page for >_> yeap, this i good news indeed! EDIT: By the way, anyone looking for awesome levels, just look in my hearted levels, I've made a point to only heart the ones I really enjoyed for one reason or another, and I never forget to heart a good level once done Consider me one of your personal DJs, like I've been doing with some of my contacts

The star ratings are still worthless since there is no search feature with them. Oh well, I am still proud of my two levels as they are both 5* for now. It gives me a nice fuzzy feeling.

I don't see how the stars will really effect all the crappy levels, unless we all play the level about 100 times and give it 1 star, maybe then.

Collectively we'll play those crappy levels thousands of more times just to rate them down. But if the Star rating doesn't affect the actual process of if they appear on cool levels or not, then we'll only be making them have more and more plays and keeping them there even longer lol. We'll still have all those trophy levels (AND RAMP) on the first few pages, just they will all be rated 1 Star lol I wonder if they've made it yet that these stars do affect the cool levels process
