Topdown stealth game (untitled)

Im work on the story still so ill update that later but game-play wise Ive got:

a weapon add-on system working for the pistol so far working on other guns
the health system.
up can tap up on the D-pad to look around the level ( im going to but a limit on it at some point)
there's a energy meter on the lower right side of the screen ( more on that in a future update)
you can pick things up to throw them

the enemy AI is going really well to so far they can investigate noise and return back to there patrol if they don't see you
they will "walk" around a wall to the best of there ability.
they cannot see you though wall either ( they have a field of vision)

currently working on:
more enemy A.I ( like maybe calling for back up)
more add-ons for the other guns
mite add co-op

Weapon upgrade system looks interesting I love the gun design... but you should maybe avoid the individual text trap, you may end up wasting thermo. Try to sticker mask out the letters, it also means one wire per word/phrase not per letter.

Check out this recent thread How To: VERY Low Thermo Holo Designs (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=55814-How-To-VERY-Low-Thermo-Holo-Designs), it'd be a shame to run out of space for the game because of awesome gun and add-ons design of the HUD.

You could make all the gun elements like this, not just the text. I'm guessing the energy bar would still need to be separate.

Hmm, I'm curious about how the enemy field of vision works. It'd be easy enough to make them only be able to "see" in a cone but not being able to see through walls is witchcraft! Do you turn off differen't sections of their field of view if it intersects a tagged object or something like that?2011-04-28 16:11:00

Wow! I'm very impressed with this idea! I saw the video, but will the enemy walk around the wall if it spots you as soon as you go behind it or will it just go in a straight line and act "confused?" Will it pursue you if you moved around in its field of vision while in the box?

I'd really like to see this when you're done with it! I don't know you, but I have confidence in you!
