I bought Bulletstorm this Easter because I really liked the demo. But I didn't actually get what I expected. I'm not talking about the gameplay, that's even better then I thought it would be! I'm talking about the so called profanity. It is there, a bit more at the start of the game but after that it's the same as in any M rated game (probably less swearing than in Killzone). The trailer and commercials kinda got me thinking that this was a "hur dur I'm so macho by using big words" game. Another thing that surprised me was the story. Ok, the main story is a bit of a cliche fest, but the execution of the tale, the back story of the town/planet and it's inhabitants, the character depth (yes, I can't believe it myself but there is actual depth to a character in a fps) is so well made I couldn't believe it. Maybe it just impressed me so much cause I was thinking that none of those things would be present in the game. Unlike Nathan Drake (I love him btw, no homo) the main character actually feels remorse for his actions, it may not be much but I find it a cool character addition. If any of you are thinking of not getting the game because of your first impression from the trailer, ignore that, it's wrong. It's a game with awesome gameplay and some really nice characters. Even the main villain, as he might seam flat and uninteresting in the beginning, experiences character growth and eventually becomes a kind of OK antagonist.

An fps character feeling remorse for what he's done? Naaawwww, no wai, that's impossiburu, there's NO way that has happened in most fps already!

I'm bought it on Release Day here in Germany. Had to import it tho, cause we the 'official' Version has lots of Cuts. You can't shoot Limbs, no Ragdoll and not a single Drop of Blood...lol Got the Austrian Version and i love it. Still playing the freaking Crap out of it.
