Draw in Help

Im trying to add a suck/draw in. Like when you run away from the enemy the sackbot your in gets sucked back towards the enemy. I tryed adding followers and emiters and tags but im having trouble. It seems the sackbots dont follow the tags. It did work when i made it for knock back.2011-04-26 18:50:00

Use followers, make sure the follower's range is large enough, and that you're not editing the sackbot's range, but the follower's itself.2011-04-26 19:39:00

im not positive but wont your signal that your sending via the analog stick to move override the follower and take priority? what about trying to use a mover that would get progressively stronger as you moved further away from the tag? by using closeness and speed/strengh scale2011-04-26 20:19:00

I think the follower would work, you would just want it to be activated only when it's supposed to be getting drawn in. Probably using a tag and tag sensor. I think that you'd want the follower speed to be just a little bit higher than the walking speed of the sackbot. I don't think it would override... I'm pretty sure it would have the effect you're looking for.2011-04-26 21:35:00
