UGGHH! For some weird reason, whenever I record my sackbot while he's in a controllinator, he ejects. I'm not into all that logic and sequencers and stuff. I'm trying to record him so a pod lands on an area, and right when I'm done, POOF! He see's a cookie and ejects himself. IT'S ANOYYING! I am USELESS in all that weird complecated logic, and I NEED help now!!! Please help or my level is....DOOMED!

I have an idea, it's a little sideways and imprecise, but you could record the actions to a blank sackbot on the ground, then copy the chip and paste it on the one in the controliantor, use a selector to pick the circuit you want to use. Not sure of the end result with this... because you'd be guessing the input timing. I did something similar with copy pasting a chip. Wasn't to a sackbot in a contronliator but he was bolted to something (don't ask). I don't think you can paste over the original chip, but you can hook a NOT gate and a battery to the one you don't want and just the battery to the one you do. Easier would be to use a sequencer with tags that are linked to the different movement elements (basic movers) via sensors. That way you can say "go left for three seconds, but after two seconds go gown at a speed of 2 for 5, then down at a speed of 1 for one..." Which would make the craft carrying the sackbot travel left then diagonally down a little bit before a smooth descent that slows before touchdown. Then you throw a force eject onto the controliantor via a battery on the sequencer. You'd essentially be animating the actions one at a time instead of recording a single live action. Means you have better ability to tweak a part of it with out having to re-record the entire action, it may not look as organic though, unless you really go all out on the animation. I know it sounds scary but start with on bit at a time. Looking at completed logic is daunting but so does the thought of building a house... but you do it one brick at a time. Also, there is some truly excellent tips and videos on sequencers on these forums. Good luck!

couldn't you just start the recording outside the controlinator, then get in and perform the actions needed?

what is the controlinator set to??? recieve? or regular? do you at any tim pass over or near another controlinator ??? when sackbots r set to be able to use controlinators they will hop in usable controlinators on thier own...a tad annoying sometimes i would just use sackbot automation...a tad more tedious but easier to alter if you need to later comphermc has a great tutorial on this
