a universe within an eye.

Archive: 15 posts

i was playing about in create mode and i found that if you make a evil eye really big, but not too big, you can see within the iris, a universe. place a block of any size any where and get out an evil eye. hover it over the block but do not place it. slowly make it bigger until your screen is full of stars and galaxies. its cool. tell me if this is been discovered before i do something crazy. :star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::s tar::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::sta r::star::star::star::star::star::star::star::star: :star::star::star::star::deviou s::de vious:2011-04-25 21:33:00

Found this a while back...

People cannot decide if this is an easter egg, or just a magical moment.

...But if you look close enough, you can see something else;

Neither, it is only logical that an eye made for a space dwelling monster (Negativitron) would reflect an image of space.

It's a standard graphics practice to use ready images to produce some other effect, specially reflections. From other examples as you can see on twisted materials you can see desert background or avalon background since twoisting removes bump mapping out of them so only reflection image is left, also bubble glass have sky. So it's just tricks make by model designers ;]2011-04-27 15:10:00

If you look in the space helmet you see this field an ever-green tree forest...

and there is also a sky if you make the global settings black and white and then look into certain metals...

Interesting stuff. So, which evil eye is it? Is it from a level you ace? I've. Made some eyes big, and don't see this effect. But I haven't Aced all levels.2011-04-28 07:04:00

@CYMBOL

It's the "Evil" one of the Magic Eyes (looks like a snake eye) - It is used by the majority of the Creature Meanies and the Negativitron itself.
