What I'd like to see is a sensor that can detect who player 1, player 2, player 3, and player 4 are individually. This would help for title menus and such. It's such a pain when player 1, 2, or 3 comes in through the entrance before the first player and it thinks they're the first player. This would be a really handy tool. I think it could possibly be an update to the player sensor.

I tired setting it to detect player color, and linked to the controller fo rth emenu...also a point giver will give to the first person to have conrtol...but man they really do need that option...because it really sucks to try and find a clean way to show which player is in control of a controllinator when it is set to nearest player.

Very true mate. A sensor to distinguish each player would be a life saver. Also it would be awesome if a entrance or spawn gate could be coded for each player.

this would be great feature to be introduced in lbp2. but at the moment emmit your control seats after a few seconds to ensure all players have successfully entered level. 1st player then will be in priority seat once emmitted. "i find" that the seat with most logic becomes priority seat which accepts first player automatically as long as all players are within the radius i havent had any problem with this technic. good luck

Thats an excellent suggestion, there are a lot of ways in which that would be useful for assigning something specific to individual players.
