What game(s) to get?
Archive: 16 posts
Hey, I'm thinking about buying some games this week since my creativity for LBP2 is dropping. Not sure why, though I guess i just need a break from it. I'm not sure what games to get, I was thinking about buying Dirt 2 since I was ranked 13th in the world for Xbox360, though i hear Dirt 3 is out in a month, which makes me want to wait for that. Though i'm one of the more impatient people and know i woin't be able to wait without spending the money lol I was also considering a RPG, though i've played Oblivion, fallout 3 and new vegas, i'm not sure which others would be a good choice. I enjoy racers though i've played 90% of them out there and shooters are becoming increasingly boring. I'm not sure, any suggestions would be appreciated. Many Thanks, RC. Hope PSN is up soon | 2011-04-24 23:03:00 Author: Unknown User |
You mentioned a 360 and RPG so feel free to have a look at my Divinity 2 first impressions here: https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=55691-Divinity-II-The-Dragon-Knight-Saga-(PC-360) I recommend it, really really enjoying it. In terms of racers, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is very good. | 2011-04-24 23:14:00 Author: Burrich Posts: 1018 |
If im not on LBP2 im usually on my newest game MOTORSTORM: APOCALYPSE. Great racer if you haven't tried it yet. Especially the Multi-player...Ooops. Maybe not. At the moment it might as well be called MOTORSTORM: ANONYMOUS. | 2011-04-24 23:25:00 Author: RtooDee2 Posts: 175 |
I'd recommend The Orange Box and Portal 2. Some of the best games ever. Yes, they're shooters, but Portal is such a unique experience it's unlike anything else. | 2011-04-24 23:33:00 Author: Mr_T-Shirt Posts: 1477 |

Portal/2 are more puzzlers than shooters. In fact, you don't directly shoot anything. But yeah, great games along with the Half-Life series. Bioshock 1 is a decent, immersive shooter with a great story. | 2011-04-25 00:07:00 Author: Radishlord Posts: 706 |

Most definitely Portal 2. Or if you have a PSP get Patapon 3 | 2011-04-25 01:49:00 Author: anoken Posts: 1654 |

I've tried Portal 1 and I didn't like it. Bioshsock I couldn't get into it, the big daddy things were the best thing about it, and i saw one through a few hours of playing. Motorstorm, i prefer realism in racing, more like GT5. I'm talking about games for PS3, not 360 if you hadn't noticed. I said i ranked 13 on dirt 2 on 360, don't have one anymore. I'm still looking at RPG's, though besides BETHESDA or whatever, games, i can't find any that you can free roam and explore.. They require turn based attacks and a straight story line.. Idk, any suggestions, keep them coming. | 2011-04-25 10:22:00 Author: Unknown User |

I like to play valkyria chronicles, tis a mix of shooter, RPG and a similar battle system to the warhammer 40k table top game. as for racers, maybe try modnation if you can stand the load times | 2011-04-25 10:32:00 Author: Smudge228 Posts: 533 |
Ye, well thanks for the suggestions. I ended up buying Dirt 2, pre-ording Dirt 3 and buying Final Fantasy 13.. They seemed like good choices for me | 2011-04-25 13:40:00 Author: Unknown User |

I've already tried Divinity 2, i didn't play it long enough to find out if i enjoyed it or not, though i don't want a massive collection of games either, it scares me that i might lose interest in LBP :O | 2011-04-25 15:46:00 Author: Unknown User |
In the RPG department, I would reccomend Golden Sun (DS), and a fun game in general would be Worms (PS3,PSP,PC,Mac,DS) | 2011-04-25 15:50:00 Author: junk-Warrior7 Posts: 276 |
