Wow just tried the demo for the first time. Love the turn based RPG action. It's so much fun actually. Seriously thinking of buying it now. Anyone Else have it or like it?2008-12-03 22:28:00

I had the demo and enjoyed it. I was thinking about importing it from America, but I decided to leave it till it comes out here in Europe.2008-12-03 22:46:00

I'm a pretty big RPG fan, but lately there hasn't been a ton that's caught my interest. Nothing enough to keep me playing on a busy life and work schedule anyway. If you do end up buying it and have a good experience, let me know or post it here, I'm really intrigued by it.2008-12-04 05:12:00

I got the game recently, and it is sooooooo amazingly deep.

The classical music references, combat style, characters, environments, and ingame music are all steller. I will say this though: No n00bs allowed. I'm not kidding, this RPG is not for the ADD Gears of War brand of people who can't go 40 seconds without killing something, the story starts off a little slow and the character development takes some time, but it makes the experience so much more epic overall.

This game is a definite must for anyone who is a music major or looking for an incredibly deep storyline.

sure deep..
but then again made so easy, a demented old woman can finish it.
but on the other side, very artistic!!

Well, I do have this game. As far as I know it's 360 only though. Please correct me if I am wrong, as I would love to get a PS3 version of this game.

I have the previous major version, Tales of Symphonia which was released on the Gamecube. I spent about 70 hours on it, it was that good.

All that being said, however... well, I haven't actually played my 360 version of the game. I know it will take up many, many hours to play and finish, and I've just left my 360 to gather dust for a fair while now and haven't turned it on in ages.

I don't mean to start a flame war by that previous comment. Don't go off topic. It's meant to be a personal reflection rather than a "this system is better than the other" type absolute statement.

So please, stay focused on the game Eternal Sonata.

Eternal Sonata is a completely different game than the 'Tales Of' series.
Also It's now been put on PS3 with two new characters, outfits, and a bit more story, I think.
I've heard it really is easy though. Is it still good despite the lack of difficulty? Should I import it?

I've been waiting for this game to come out on the PS3 for way too long. The moment I saw the trailer I knew it was insta-buy from me. In Europe, it doesn't come out until Febuary. >__<2008-12-29 15:09:00

I finished the demo thrice. It's just too awesome. The Light/Dark system is really interesting.
Disgaea and Valkyrica Chronicles will keep me till February, though. Or I could import it for perhaps less money? Or is the pound more than the dollar yet?
