DCS Text?

Archive: 5 posts

I've played some community levels where the controls are displayed at the bottom of the screen. I've also seen this in Avalonia, whilst in the mechapup and other inventions, there's a control HUD at the bottom of the screen displaying the button and what it does.

Can someone post a tutorial on how to do this?

If no one understands, I'll try and find a picture.

EDIT: This is in the wrong place. can someone move it to the Help! section?

If you want to set up the controllinator seat to display what each button does, simply open up the controllinator and select each of the buttons on the DCS.
You will see an option pop up for each contro when you tweak theml (e.g.- X Button: PROMPT ...) The 'prompt' can be renamed to anything you like and when set, each set prompted button will be displayed at the bottom. Its basically a way to tell you the controls youve made.
If you use a MAGIC MOUTH you can display text messages. If you tweak a magic mouth and enable subtitles, it will display your text at the bottom of the screen with no background.

Hope that helps buddy
