Original DLC

There always seems to be DLC inspired from movies, and PS3 games What about original ones like in the PSP version? Do you think there should be more DLC made from Mm and not from a game or even let the PSP DLC available for LBP2 just a thought! flame me away LOLZ | 2011-04-22 18:17:00 Author: GreenGhost28 Posts: 85 |
As long as DLC is good and useful, I don't care much what it is really. Most people only buy DLC for the items rather than levels anyway probably. | 2011-04-22 18:44:00 Author: Moonface Posts: 310 |
Well, we had the Monster kit and the History kit. | 2011-04-22 18:59:00 Author: Arkei Posts: 1432 |

I have no idea what PSP packs are like, so saying they rock doesn't bother me in the slightest. Besides, while PSP may have better DLC, we have LBP2. We win. | 2011-04-22 21:26:00 Author: Moonface Posts: 310 |
and the turbo pack rocks; shame you guys cant play it Yeah, it rocks apart from the fact that much of its content can destroy your level simply by being placed in it | 2011-04-22 21:42:00 Author: FlipMeister Posts: 631 |
Yeah, it rocks apart from the fact that much of its content can destroy your level simply by being placed in it i know now THATS a shame :/ stop rolling your eyes it bothers me | 2011-04-22 21:52:00 Author: nysudyrgh Posts: 5482 |
Maybe we should have another community costumes contest like we did with the Kabuki outift and stuff? I'd love to submit some outfits like a cool gasmask type character to lift up the hopes of people without a bug blaster. Or maybe Mm should do a law enforcement pack with both American and British police. Or an Army pack, like sackboy with a buzz cut and camo suits and combat boots. That'd be an awesome day for LBP2 DLC. (sorry for my old post I was typing WAY too fast and didn't notice all my mistakes) | 2011-04-24 01:37:00 Author: Unknown User |
Holy crap, I've just noticed that the PSP version has exactly the backgrounds I need for my levels. THEY GOTTA PORT THIS STUFF! PSP CONTENT PACK! | 2011-04-24 02:47:00 Author: lemurboy12 Posts: 842 |
or even let the PSP DLC available for LBP2 You do realize more than 3/4 of the DLC for PSP was based from LBP1 right? Gardens, Canyons, Wilderness, Metropolis, and so much more. But still, I do agree. There should be more original DLC | 2011-04-24 02:58:00 Author: anoken Posts: 1654 |
psp dlc is not better than ps3 stuff. trust the guy who lived with it as his first experience of lbp for years while he envied those with a ps3. IT. IS. NOT. BETTER. but i wish the lbp psp ghost costume was in ps3. it is awesome!. | 2011-04-24 09:18:00 Author: nerzdadestroyer Posts: 1527 |

nah, LBP1 got also lot of original content What do you mean? Are you saying LBP1 had plenty of it's own content by itself? | 2011-04-24 18:33:00 Author: lemurboy12 Posts: 842 |
to be honest, i never bought that pack.. but i bought the fruit one and the background. it is just mountains and a lake with a dock as the bottom of the level. | 2011-04-25 09:31:00 Author: nerzdadestroyer Posts: 1527 |
PSP DLC doesn't really have any good ones though as compared to the complexity of the PS3, but they should hold another costume contest for LBP2 | 2011-04-25 13:00:00 Author: TheDesertDrifter Posts: 72 |

Well, there was rumours about some pet costumes + stickers in the latest update: Cats & Dogs would be awesome! | 2011-04-26 18:10:00 Author: Jedi_1993 Posts: 1518 |
Well, there was info on some pet costumes + stickers in the latest update: That site is not supported by MM or Sony. people hacked the patch data to see what was inside. you should most likely remove the link. | 2011-04-26 20:18:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |

Explain to me how you wouldn't want these backgrounds. http://www.littlebigplanet.com/images/assets/shared/dlc/imagery/psp_fantasy.jpg http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad30/lemurboy/downunder.png http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad30/lemurboy/desert.png http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad30/lemurboy/orient.png http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad30/lemurboy/carnival.png http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad30/lemurboy/atinsel.png http://i918.photobucket.com/albums/ad30/lemurboy/alpine.png Because I Don't?..... I never use anything but my own hand made backgrounds when making a level. so pretty much i use the LBP1 blank BG. i never liked how MM's BGs they are super oversized making sackperson look like a ant, i have no use for that in my own levels. | 2011-04-27 19:27:00 Author: Lord-Dreamerz Posts: 4261 |

There's many Original DLC packs/ costumes on the PS3 side too, tho yes, it would be nice to have more original DLC, not that I dislike DLC from other franchises , I really like those as well, but some original stuff is also really nice from time to time. | 2011-07-08 19:58:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |

Alright, I'll take a swing at it. Musician Pack Costumes: Classic, Jazz, Country, Rock (all genres have a male and female version) Materials: Blank Paper, Polished Red Wood, Polished Brown Wood, Polished Marble, Polished Brass, Velvet, Gold Trim Tools: String, Guitar, Percussion, Brass, Woodwind, Keyboard, Synthesizer, Vocal, Note Sensor, Recorder Background: Music Theatre The instrument tools each offer a variety of instruments indicated by name. For example, strings include fiddle, violen, viola, and cello. The Note Sensor detects when a specific note is played in either the treble or bass clefs, and can optionally include a specific instrument. The Recorder picks up the notes played by instruments and plays them back when triggered. These three tools together allow players to compose their own music and record it. You can also create music-based minigames using these tools. Fantasy Pack Costumes: Warrior, Mage, Ranger, Cleric, Black Knight, Sorceress, Goblin, Necromancer Materials: Iron Bars, Metal-Banded Wood, Castle Bricks, Tree Bark, Grass, Leaves, Water, Dragon Scales, Bones, Dirt Tools: Weapons, Health Restore, Hit Points, Damage Tweaker, Armor Tweaker, Damage Sensor Background: Forest The Weapons Power-up can offer different weapons, including swords, axes, maces, spears, magic staves, and bows. You can also add a shield to the sword, axe, or mace that protects you when you aren't attacking. Health Restore fully refills your health. Speaking of which, the Hit Points setting allows players to set a number of hit points for Sackboy ranging from 1 (the default) to 100. The Damage Tweaker determines how much damage the object deals on contact, or how much it heals; the damage can also be dealed or healed over time. The Armor Tweaker determines damage offset. The Damage Sensor of course detects certain amounts of damage. The range for both tweakers and the sensor is 1 to 100. | 2011-07-09 19:45:00 Author: Brandon Posts: 106 |
More "basic" costumes would be nice. Like the spacesuit one, I think it should have been among the "stereotypical" costumes like the ninja, the robot and the pirate. I dunno, more clothes inspired in real life, like Policemen, mailmen, doctors... To get a cool pair of shades you've got to get the Jaydan costume, for some normal looking male hair you have to either get Ethan/infamous 2 Cole/Will turner/Ghostbuster/Hulk/Punisher costumes, and so on. And even then you may get disappointed with some clothing parts from a DLC costume being attached to other parts you don't want. Oh well... I guess MM wouldn't make as much money if they didn't make people fetch half a dozen DLC's for some generic items that somehow have no counterpart in the base game. Reminds me of how almost every costume in LBP1 was completely mundane and all the items in LBP2 are totally crazy and eccentric, no middleground whatsoever. | 2011-07-10 00:01:00 Author: SnipySev Posts: 2452 |
35513 OMG Look at that! A MUMMY costume?! Come ON! We need more original DLC. I mean, that mummy is great for desert horror levels! | 2011-07-10 16:38:00 Author: GreenGhost28 Posts: 85 |
oh yea i loved that mummy costume.. im leaning towards psp costumes being WAY better even tho the graphics quality of sackboy isnt as good.... hmmm...... | 2011-07-10 20:37:00 Author: nerzdadestroyer Posts: 1527 |
I think the old DLC, like astronaut, should be able to be downloaded again, maybe, say, once every year like the others. Because now everyone with astronaut and LBP2 tree shirt and cap can boast and make costumes others can't. What about on the beginning of LBP day, when it first came out, or when Media Molecule was established? Jut saying. | 2011-07-13 22:44:00 Author: Unknown User |
More DLC suggestions! Sports Level Kit Materials: Green, Net, Ice, Lacquered Wood, Dirt Background: Park Costume Pack 1: Golf, Tennis, Baseball, Hockey Costume Pack 2: Football, Basketball, Soccer, Bowling This would be a fun pack dedicated to showcasing various sports. Extreme Sports Level Kit Tools: Climbinators, Dashinators, Hoverboard, Hoverbike, Player Tether Materials: Rock, Snow, Long Grass, Gravel, Riverbed Rocks Background: Mountain Costumes: Climber, Cyclist, Snowboarder, Skydiver I've covered the Climbinators, Dashinators, Hoverboard, and Hoverbike elsewhere before, but the Player Tether is a new idea I had that would tie two or more players together. The Player Tether is accessible from the Popit, and can be removed by either player afterward. Beach Fun Level Kit Materials: Soft Sand, White Wood, Reef, Marine Metal, Marine Glass Background: Beach Costumes: Diver, Surfer, Bailey, Mermaid | 2011-07-15 07:47:00 Author: Brandon Posts: 106 |
