because i cant stop going back to that style... LAV is actually finished... we're waiting on music in case you were wondering. In the meantime, work had been coming in spurts on Mega City remix... which is too big of a project to keep at for too long before going a bit batty. however i cant stop myself from exploring my unused backgrounds and materials and such and creating new architectural styles... and then adding huge jumps. I think ive developed the style i'm going to use for LA6. its kinda like norse castles. I dont know if they really had castles... in my vikings and sagas class we only ever talked about longhouses and forts but whatev... this is my own fictional world so there you go. I am using the wilderness background for the first section. Its all spiky peaks and snowy slopes. with fumaroles and lava floes and ancient geothermal technology! then, i was thinking of level linking into the wedding background for a grand castle environment... with some vegetation. ive already done a little bit of building in here continuing the use of the same materials. I think it looks really nice. I want a third environment, but i dont really know what to use at this time. I was thinking eves background but it has high tech stuff in it... unless i wanted to do some kinda grandia type situation... where you (or they) unearthed some ancient super tech left by a different fallen society... think LAIV backwards... This makes sense in a couple ways... utilizing geothermal tech it would make sense that they were digging around down there. Lost Ages is generally about fallen civilizations. Also i thought about introducing an enemy of sorts into the game play. There has always been the indication that something has removed the life from these worlds, but youve been doing clean up. basically just restarting the fires of life so that it can be renewed. what if the evil left something laying in wait for you, having come across or heard about your meddling? think: Dahaka. Anyways if you have any ideas about backgrounds or opinions on the way things should progress... please comment.
