Some of my sketches

Archive: 5 posts

Just some of my sketches... Some are rather suckish and some are decent. (sorry about the crappy quality)

Very good! There's still room for improvement (some of the proportions aren't great, but hey, neither are they for me when I draw) , but I like them, particularly the Peter griffin and Kirby ones. just a friendly suggestion, maybe try drawing them on a smaller scale? perhaps the little proportion errors will be subtler then.

if you're up for requests/suggestions of who to draw, I'd love to see you draw the classic (Naughty dog era) style Crash Bandicoot (heres a pic for reference: http://www.freewebs.com/mmxcalibur/Crash%20Bandicoot.JPG ) You don't have to, but that'd be cool.

and also (sorry to be mr.criticism) but I find when photographing traditional drawings, it's easier to take them if you attach it to a wall/flat vertical surface with some blutack or something. That way, you can get a straight-on shot without (most of the time) having your camera and your hands' shadows glaring over it (:

thanks for the feedback! Some were rushed and I'm not really good with making small pictures >_< But I'll have to try later on. And I'd love to draw Crash Bandicoot I might just do that2011-04-21 21:01:00
