For example, i am currently creating an emitter that shoots out fireballs. The emitter is put on a rotating contraption that follows a Key. Now i'm trying to add sound and i'm having trouble matching up the emitting of the fireball to the sound. Perhaps this would be easier if the emitter had an output that when it was connected to a sound or an object it would trigger it.

So maybe you could put an emitter on a block attached to a piston and every time the emitter shot out the object the piston would go up, or down. (if you had the output setting on direction)

Please take this into thought, because it would make things a lot simpler!

I would hook the same output that is setting off the emitter into the input of the sound object (or, if you want a simple one-time-only sound, hook the output that sets off the emitter into a pulse-counter and hook THAT into the sound object).2011-04-21 17:20:00
