NEW Glitch?

Archive: 15 posts

A couple days ago I was with my friend and I joined someone else. So when we were in create mode on the other persons moon. My friend was going to leave to his pod then he got disconected and then...... I became game leader and I could control the level we were creating in and I was all by myself.... This glitch should be fixed because people could steal entire levels by this glitch without the other person knowing.

Things that you can do in this glitch
1. Steal stuff
2. rewind and fast forword
3. create

Things you cant do
1. Save the level
2. return to pod and return to that level

Thanks for reading this

This would happen in LBP1 as well. I invited friends to beta test a level, we git separated but they were still in my level playing it. Happens in LBP2 still. Same exact thing has happened. Doubt this will be on there priority list to fix since its such a random and rare occurrence.2011-04-21 15:07:00

This has happened to me a few times. I just reconnected with the host straight away.
So yes, it can be repeated but you can't control it (I think)

yeah this has happen before when i was playing with friends.
i never payed much notice to it as it's rare and i always would go and rejoined them fast when it happened.
I don't think people should worry about it much. *mew

To be honest, you should only really be letting people that you trust into your moon anyway, so it's not a big problem at all. People can just as easily steal your stuff while you're there but just not looking.2011-04-21 15:23:00

It's very hard to reproduce it since it's quite random, but it happens.

I dunno. Might be as simple as yanking the network cable out of the back of your PS3. Most programmers are pretty sloppy when it comes to unusual edge-cases like this.

Even simpler - just log out of PSN right before leaving someone's level. This glitch has existed for a long time now and I'm surprised it hasn't been patched yet. It can be reproduced at will and I have a video of how its done.

With PS Home (atleast before 1.50) you could do that when a space was loading and be there all by yourself lol...but yeah this has happened to me but seems VERY rare...
