Hey Folks, Can anyone tell me how to turn off/remove a 2nd local player. For example, if I'm playing with a friend locally (as in not online), my friend wants to quit but I want to keep playing, how do I go back to only having one sackboy? It also happens when a controller runs low on battery and I need to switch to another. I've searched through the help forums and tried all the menus in LBP but can't seem to figure out how to do this. Thanks!

I just recently found this out, you simply have him turn off his controller, after 15 seconds or so, his Sackboy will "pop" and there you go, back to 1 player.

Yup. Entirely correct. And just to clarify the entire process: 1. Pick up controller in question. 2. Press and hold PS button for two seconds, until a black screen appears with options. 3. Select the Turn Off Controller option at the bottom. 4. Wait around a few seconds, and the other player will disappear. The reason for the delay is because that's actually a safeguard. In certain circumstances, such as dropping the controller sharply, loss of power, plugging or unplugging the USB cable, for examples, the controller can briefly turn off. Rather than instantly reset right then, it's programmed in to wait for it to possibly come back online, and after a few seconds decided you wanted it off and goes with that. Just don't...you know. Turn off your own controller, or the console, or something like that.
