Project Logic

Archive: 9 posts

You guys remember the "Creators Toolkit"? Well, I'm looking to make an even better version of that!

You are?
Yes?
Why?
Because I feel people could have better creating experience with premade logic and controlinators. I have friends wowing me with there logic, and I have friends asking me what an "OR" gate does! So, for the wellbeing of LBP2's community, I'm starting Project Logic.

What we need:
I will be making a lot of logic put in microchips and controlinators. Also, if you have a piece o logic you want to submit, add me, we'll go into create mode, and you can show me it! If it's messy, please clean it up, because we don't want fellow creators messing up due to messy logic.

Summing it up (and then some):

Remember: clean up messy logic, don't just send me a little big gift of it, you need to tell me what it's used for!
You can join my group, if you'd like.

Keep LBP2 a fun, awesome place to play, create, and share. Together, we can help ALL Community members. I hope you submit some logic today

seems handy, I could probably manage a chip that has enemy health that depletes when hit by a creatinator.2011-04-19 15:14:00

Don't forget you can also just take the Creator's Toolkit and add your own stuff to it, then release it under a different name while still saying that it's based on the Toolkit ^^
Or, you could help me with the Creator's Toolkit.. I don't want to work on it alone anymore. So many contributions are coming in and I don't have time to sift through them all. You say your friends have created some amazing logic.. Why not contribute it to the Toolkit?

Or you could continue with project logic, in which case I hope it becomes a very useful collection of logic

I'm happy to add a little chip I created a few months back, it's a timed fire to water sensor (original state: lethal (fire), when water comes into contact, it depletes a health bar, unlethalizes it, then turns on a timer, after five seconds it reverts back to a lethalised state. Dunno if you'd want it seeing as it's pretty basic. And if the OP doesn't want it, robbit10 can have it for your creators toolkit thingy, as long as you credit my PSN ID. 2011-04-20 07:20:00

Personally I feel the tutorials take so much time, so if you include an easy explanation of everything that would be nice, as I bet there has been a few who played the tutorials without getting what was said, did not play, or just went in for all the stuff to get everything.

Good luck

I have made something called a "Flicker Gate". Hook it up to some hologram or neon, and it makes it flicker when sackboy is in it's range. Useful?

I am also gonna make an Enemy Health Gate which depletes when the object it is attatched to is attacked by a creatinator.

Yeah!

You don't have to go up against the toolkit, contribute to it!
