I'd really like to see Naughty Dog bring their amazing franchise over to the PS3. I've been waiting for 6 years and I've been bugging them about it for a while now. Don't get me wrong, Uncharted is great, I just like Jak and Daxter more. After all, it IS my favorite video game series of all time. And if they made a real one for the PS3 with online, an epic story, and co-op; I might just explode on how epic that would be. Who else is a Jak and Daxter fan?

Yeah another jack and daxter will be nice but to be honest it looks like naught dog our all uncharted i heard talks about an a uncharted 4 already lol hopefully will get another one but i cant see it happening any time soon.Still you never now

Naughty dog didnt create Jak and daxter. Im pretty sure Insomniac Games did. Im not sure, but if ND did, They did a good job, because that series was really good, alongwith Crash Bandicoot and their other early games. A reboot of Jak & Daxter would be really cool, but I would really like to see Naughty Dog bring back their Crash Cart Racing game into todays graphics and gameplay. I have the PS1 classic downloaded on my PS3 right now!

NaughtyDog made Crash, then Jak, then Uncharted. Insomniac made Spyro and Ratchet. Where did you get your information from? Edit: I seem to have been sniped...

I wish all these good old ps1/ps2 games would come back on ps3 made by the people who did the originals. I would love a new spyro game that is just like spyro 1, 2 or 3. or a new version of the good old 2D Oddworld games (those are awesome)

Even with franchises back in the hands of their original studios some of the people will have changed jobs since then. The founders of Naughty Dog left between Jak 3 and Combat Racing for example.

I suppose it comes down to if and when Naughty Dog can find a good plot to probably make a new Jak & Daxter trilogy. They're not just going to make a new trilogy for the heck of it. Personally I doubt Jak & Daxter could work online excluding Co-Op possibly, but people thought Uncharted wouldn't work out online and it turned out decent. Perhaps they'll go back to the franchise after Uncharted 3 so as to take a break from Uncharted, since that's all they've worked on for their last three games. They must have some interest in it still considering they didn't sell it off like Crash Bandicoot and the little easter eggs they put into their Uncharted games about it.

They must have some interest in it still considering they didn't sell it off like Crash Bandicoot They had to sell Crash because thats just the way things work in the industry, developers often have to hand over the rights to their ip to a publisher to get the funding to make the games. Sony bought Naughty Dog during the development of Jak & Daxter so everything they do now is owned by Sony.

You know what happens when Naughty Dog lets another game company try making one of their games? 'Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier' by High Impact Games happens. I don't know whether to call it a hit or a miss. I mean they even bathed Daxter in more dark eco and changed him into Dark Daxter which is kind of iffy to fans of J&D. He looks cool but, I guess it didn't quite catch on. I bet it was around the time when games needed your favorite game character to go through that werewolf experience (Sonic Unleashed). Anyway, I do wish for a brand new Jak and Daxter game. That, or at least do a revamp like The Sly Collection in HD. Same for the Rachet and Clank games.

I'd love a new Jak and Daxter game, but I really didn't like how they changed the gameplay in the second and third game by adding guns, I adored the gameplay in the first one where it was just simple punch attacks etc. and it was mainly just about exploring and trying to find power cells. That's the kind of gameplay I'd like to see.

I would love to see more vehicle gameplay like we saw in Jak 3. I agree with the others in saying that they should keep it generically platforming and adventuring, but i wouldn't mind if they added gun gameplay if it wasn't a huge feature, such as a musket, or a stun gun. This could be a risky move though. If they mess up the gun controls or use them too much, the results could be horrific. But they made Uncharted, so If they did include them, they would do it in the same way. (very, very well)

But ND just stopped with Jak & Daxter, so Uncharted took the spotlight.
