Can a Timer Control the Speed/brightness of an Object?

Archive: 5 posts

I'm a bit surprised by this to be honest.

I connected a timer (counting down) to a light expecting the light to become dimmer as the timer got closer to the end. Of course the light ended up staying on until the timer timed out. So can this not be done or am I missing something extremely simple?

Guess I haven't quite got my head around this new LBP2 logic yet.

it might work if you have it as a inverted timer and set to count up ot down, i cant test it, my bro is on LBP2 hope this works! 2011-04-18 09:52:00

On the light, you need to set "input action" to "dimmer" if you want the light to fade out with a timer.2011-04-18 09:52:00

Unfortunately, that's how I have it set up at the moment :/

On the light, you need to set "input action" to "dimmer" if you want the light to fade out with a timer.I could have sworn I didn't see an option for that, I did look. I'll be sure to take a better look when I'm next on.

EDIT: Wow, just realised Shadowriver has a video explaining this in the tuts section -_- I think I need to get some rest.
