I have both LBP1 and LBP2 and I was talking with a friend who only has LBP2 and not 1 and he says he doesn't have the jetpack in his popit. Did they really take it out in the sequel or is there something wierd with his popit? If they didn't include it, thats pretty dumb.

its another reason to get the first lbp or u can just let ur friend copy the jetpack from lbp1 or tell ur friend to download the creator pack 1 for the tetherless jetpack

Yeah, what he said. the (tethered) jetpack is only obtainable if you transfer your data from LBP1, but I think it can also be obtained from someone else with no problems. Or, you could get the Creator pack.

You can tell your friend to... 1. Go to "Store" whilst in LBP2. 2. Find the free DLC titled "Creator Pack 1". http://www.littlebigplanet.com/images/sized/images/assets/shared/dlc/icons/creator_pack-72x72.png (http://www.littlebigplanet.com/en/game_guide/ps3/downloadable_content/creator_pack_1/) 3. Choose to "buy" it. (Totally free.)

if he wants the teathered one then you could send it to him ? just capture it and press square in my objects and send it to him hope this helps!

...what are you people talking about? Both Jetpacks and everything else but some materials from 1 are available on 2, has he done the tutorials? If not, tell hom to do them, he's missing a lot of stuff otherwise. If he's done all tutorals and still nothing, may be a glitch. And really guys, in case you didn't know, not everyone can just "go buy" a game whenever they want, it costs money in case you've forgotten...
