Putty Material

I'm sure it's been mentioned before, but I'd really like to see a putty material introduced (hopefully right after we get ice back )

I really think it would add a cool dynamic to the game just like water, magnets or other popular mentions of additional content after bugs are fixed.

Not only could you get the effect of mud or sinking (with density settings) but you could also deform objects on impact with other shapes, dig in the putty for objects and all kinds of other great ideas we'd all come up with.

I like it A soft material like cloth would be good though.

I should have been a bit more specific to keep this oriented to the ideas column.

I also want to see if anyone has any tricks or suggestions to get a putty or shape changing type of affect by creative ideas 		2008-12-03 17:28:00

More complicated than water or magnets? doubtful. Could have some issues that would force them to leave it out till future patches or LBP2 like ice possibly though... but I think we'll see Ice soon.

Now that I think about it, I am very confident they could and will pull off a putty, water or some type of new material similar.		2008-12-03 22:01:00

They already have "flexible" objects, just not usable as materials... look at what happens when you stand on a Felt Tree. It kind of squishes.2008-12-04 00:48:00
