PlayStation-centric site PSN! is reporting that the star of LittleBigPlanet is going to hit the virtual links soon. The Spanish PlayStation site writes today that Sackboy will join God of War series star Kratos as a downloadable golfer in Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds. Sounds perfectly reasonable to us ? and far more fitting than the Greek god of war or Darkstalkers' Morrigan landing birdies. We'd expect to see many, many more appearances in first-party PlayStation 3 games on par with this one. For the record, PSN is the same outlet that ran that Street Fighter Sackboy rumor, for whatever that's worth.

I saw something about the SONY's reaction considering the welcome made by fans to LBP and Sackboyz. They were thinking about making the Sackboy their mascot. So I think that we will now find Sackboys everywhere. http://ps3media.ign.com/ps3/image/article/901/901107/hot-shots-golf-out-of-bounds-20080820030839071_640w.jpg Kratos is fun in that game and I think Sackboy is a good choice for that type of game too, his look is matching with the style of Hot Shots Golf.

Welcome Dach. I liek sackboy, but I dont want the character to be turned into something like Mario and be in thousands of crappy games with no reason but to boost sales.

Everybody's Golf: World Tour Also known as: Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds (US), Hot Shots Golf 5, Everybody's Golf 5, Minna no Golf 5 (JPN), Everybody's Golf: World Tour (AU) Yep it is But I loved the first EG on the PSP but haven't played ant since Back on topic: I personally don't really care if sackboy is in 100 games as a downloadable character. He is a great character and if it boosted sales then surely that can only be a good thing for the franchise. It's only for a bit of fun
