I still don't get this...

I know this question is asked a lot, but how to make a Sackboy attack like in that Knight vs. Knight level, I know there are tutorials that the creator has but I can't follow or memorize what the creator says. I also don't get how to control a sackbot without your popit appearing... Could anyone help me on this?2011-04-17 00:04:00

Also, how do you make it say Press square for an attack? (For example pressing down for hover mode to be off)
And how do you make it so you can attack from both sides?

well to answer your question about the instruction bubbles, you have to go into the output of square hover your popit chord thing over it hit square and change it's name to "attack" then it will appear if you're in the controlinator2011-04-18 02:25:00

You need to add in more behavior chips. They are right next to the sackbot in the tools menu. Then you'll set them to Act and record an animation, swinging your arm with the sword in it.. Then you hook up the square button for example to the behavior chip. Then when you hit square, it will play the animation, making the sackbot swing his arms.2011-04-18 03:11:00

How do you make the sackbots attack both left and right?
and how do you disable all the other buttons while the sackbot is attacking so you won't be able to press any other button to grab or move your arms or to do another attack?
also, how do you disable what a button does? (for example, i'd like to use R1 for an attack but it makes you grab still)

To attack in both directions:

1.Record your animations for both left and right. Set them to Loop releative.
2.Hook them up to 3 port selector (make sure the default port of the selector is not currently selecting one of them or else it will play by default without a button input)
3.Now get 2 and gates out. Wire them to your selector inputs that control the 2 animations.
4.Get your controllinator, now wire your attack button to one port of each of the AND gates.
5.Now get out a direction splitter, wire up the positive to your AND GATE that's animation faces right, and the negative to the AND GATE that's animation faces left. (may be the other way round but just use trial and error.)
6.Finally wire your "Left analogue stick's LEFT and RIGHT axis to the direction splitter"

Hopefully that works, I haven't tested it or anything. Just from my head.

I've had the good fortune of visiting the tutorial level to which you referred, and actually understood what was going on (mostly...). I gotta lay it to you straight, Fuzz Ball: the Creator does the best job of anybody in explaining what's going on.

Tell you what though. You needn't bunch up your head trying to remember all that is said, or shown. Get out that in-game camera! You can take some photos of the tutorial material, and then paste it on some oversized surface in one of your own levels, for later scrutiny.
