This is going to sound rude, but I feel it needs to be said. Look at the forum, what do you see? Complaints about the PSP dying and no one will "play my levels" when released. The thing is, there are a TON of people saying this. Honestly, it's starting to annoy me. The PSP isn't dying, you're killing it. Sure, it might not be at the level it used to be, but it shouldn't completely die now that LBP 2 is out. It's seems like there's this spiral of, "No one is creating, so I won't". Then, the people that read that decide not to create themselves. Your lack of creating could inspire 20 other creators to quit. Do you really think saying the PSP is dead is going to help it in any way. A good creator could be right around the corner and then they could come here and decide that creating isn't worth it. It's especially bad with the "Should I finish...." threads. It's depressing and does nothing to motivate anyone. This isn't meant to be a personal attack, and I can see why posts like this are popping up. But, this thing isn't dead. Let's keep it that way, at least for a while.

It's kind of funny, with the amount of people posting about how the PSP section is dying, you'd think it really isn't dying at all. I'd have to agree that it is just the lack of people bothering to create anymore... Of course, I was guilty of making a couple of those "Should I finish" threads, and I was actually going to finish a level and now my PSP doesn't work right, so that kind of fell apart.

well im sorry but theres nothing you can do and it breaks my heart to say it aswell, I hate the fact that this once strong community has crumbled into pretty much nothing, it really upsets me. But i also find it upsetting when people become into a state of denial about LBP PSP, its dying and theres nothing no one can do about it. Now if you would excuse me, i'm going to go and sit in a corner and cry

I think "not dying" was taken wrong. I'm just saying that people are killing it, and it isn't dying the natural death it was meant to. There are many months before NGP, yet the community has all but given up. Plus, you still see TONS of people's levels going online, just not from the community.

I made a should I finish level because there arent many people compared to what it was here, and wondered if they would even play it so I'm not wasting my time. Sadly I cant connect to the server, and Im getting a whole lot of create mode bugs.

For me, Create mode bugs are a bigger concern than the state of the community. I just threw away a completed boss fight because it apparently had an intersecting poly somewhere and was getting more and more out of alignment with each save.

Of course this thread is pointless... Just as pointless as the others. But it at least sparked some conversation, and the busier we make this forum, the more likely hood that someone will find it worthwhile to post and check back. Now we just need a massive campaign to respark the fire or at least let it go out with a bang (note the contradiction to my original post...)
