I don't think you should assume that favorite level = best level. There is no "world's best level" because the criteria for what makes a level good varies depending on what kind of level it is. You could maybe say that a particular level has the best visuals you've seen, or that it has the best gameplay of it's kind, but there is no way to pick one best level.

Agree with the above, each level has it's own unique things to make it special. No one level would ever be so good to perfect everything, and as nothing is perfect anyway that alone would make it that no level could ever be the best one ever.

I agree. There isn't a world best level. The whole matter is purely subjective. Many people think one level is the best, while on the other hand you have just as many saying it's total crap.

Since this is a mature community( compared to other forums i have seen), i doubt this thread will end in flame, and most will probably say theres no such thing as a best level. This thread could have been more interesting if it were gauging particular gameplay elements, music, or content/storyline etc. What your asking is whats your favorite level and most likely the most popular would win. However, you got to be careful using such a term. "Best" is a powerful word, as it could easily degrade every creators projects single- handedly. Some people want their stages to be the very best, as everyone wants to present something never before seen in LBP( trust me, people are very attached to their work). Plus, its a weird question: " Best Level Ever?" because its sort of like choosing between your best friends and deeming one better than the other. No one wants to do that. In my opinion, "The Best Levels in the world" is a level that a creator puts his/her heart and soul into creating. Hearts, plays, or yays is no measure of a stages quality; its the effort put into it that makes it special. And personally, my favorite stage changes weekly, which is why i wont vote. There are way to many levels out there i appreciate equally with different genre's and style's. Sure, some games have better executed elements than others or graphics, but the overall enjoyment is too subjective given the vast difference of interest around the LBP community to accurately or offically deem a level better than all the others. I know I usually play devils advocate, but i just thought i would throw that out there... Happy Voting

I am currently in the process of making the worlds best level. It will make all the sackgirls want me, and all the sackboys want to BE me... but I fear the mere sight of my new level may melt brains, so , when it is complete I will keep it on my moon, where only I can behold the worlds greatest level... or at least, the worlds mostly, pretty good level... As for my favorite level, one is actually an old Comphermc level, called, All Mines.

This is the greatest and best level in the world... Tribute. Long time ago me and my brother sackboy here, we was hitchhikin' down a bare and empty moon patch. All of a sudden, there shined a shiny demon... in the middle... layer. And he said: "Make the best level in the world, or I'll eat your soul." And we made the first thing that came to our heads, Just so happened to be, The best level in the world, it was the best level in the world. Look into my eyes and it's easy to see One and one make two, two and one make three, It was destiny. Once every hundred-thousand years or so, When the sun doth shine and the moon doth glow And the grass doth grow... Needless to say, the beast was stunned. Whip-crack went his whoopy tail, And the beast was done. He asked us: "(snort) Be you Media Molecule?" And we said, "Nay. We are but men." Rock! Ahhh, ahhh, ahhh-ah-ah, Ohhh, whoah, ah-whoah-oh! This is not the greatest level in the world, no. This is just a tribute. Couldn't remember the greatest level in the world, no, no. This is a tribute, oh, to the greatest level in the world, All right! It was the greatest level in the world, that we lost in a glitch! All right! It was the best muthasackin' level the greatest level in the world. *guitar solo* And the peculiar thing is this my friends: The level we made on that fateful night it didn't actually look anything like this level. All right! --- But seriously, I did make the worlds best level, but everyone I showed it to died of overexposure to pure awesomeness. Which explains why I didn't publish it.

Nope. Sorry. I don't agree with anything that has been typed above. CLEARLY the best level ever made is "Grab the Yellow Things". It has everything you could possibly want in a level: Sackpeople, spinning shapes, stickers, a bouncy platform, lots of color, a kicking leg-thing, a giraffe..... and yellow things you can grab. I submit to you that if all other levels disappeared from the LBP2 servers, somehow the story levels were erased, an update permanently destroyed create mode, and Grab the Yellow Things was the ONLY level left.... LBP2 would still be worth owning. Of course, the second best is "The Three Flamigos". These opinions are completely objective, and can be backed up by scientific data.

I was going to say Omega Dawn on Warhawk...but I think Broken Mirror may have been better. But honestly the only way I could top midnight's post would be to somehow tie in Sarah's "One Wish" song...heck I am off to watch that clip...and then some Tenacious D.

I'm going to throw it out there, simply because I am the only with big enough kahuna's to actually say it. Ramp. It is so mindbending that I'm not even sure if LBP2's engine can handle it... so I'm pretty sure you'd have to load up your copy of LBP to even witness it's awe inspiring awesomeness. >.>

Can we not rationalize things here? Ramp is ramp. Anyways the "Worlds Best Level" Would be a level that pulls off every category perfectly. As everyone thinks differently on what "perfect" is. For example some people might think that the "perfect level" should have Creatinator usage. Some people think a level can be "perfect" without creatinator usage. If a level has an imperfection, then there is probably a better level out there. What I'm saying is we shouldn't put our own bias against fact. But thats nearly impossible since everyone has some natural form of bias. If we were to state the "perfect" level we would all have to think the same without bias, Which is logically impossible. I honestly can't think of a flawless level. If you were to tell me a level that you thought was "perfect" I could probably disprove it with ease.
