Well, for me I like levels that show some individuality, do something different, or more likely, something commonplace in a new way, has an unusual style, interesting or spectacular visuals that stay in your head for a good while after - that has the ability to operate on different levels, so perhaps it appears to be one thing but references many things relating to much bigger issues, and levels that essentially spark with imagination.

Trouble is, thats just what I like, seems to me most people like bomb/shark/(enter new fad here) levels and things they've already seen lots of times before so they know exactly what they are getting before they play and don't have to worry about thinking too much.

What I'm saying is, if you want to make levels people want to play, check out cool pages etc and make a carbon copy of some of those. But wouldn't it be better to make something people don't even know they want?
