Hi, new here

Hi everyone

I got LBP a little late maybe (just got it this year). I got all the bubbles of the levels and thought about doing only 1 simple level so I could get on with my life. What happened was that now I'm hooked to this game! I'm creating things and playing on the community all the time. There's a lot of people with amazing levels and I love to see what people come up with.

Also I saw that there's a thread where one can ask for feedback on a level, how does that work? I haven't publish my levels yet (currently I have 2) but I would like people to tell me what they think and how I can make them better

thanks

You have LBP1 or 2?

Anyways go to post a new F4F level in the level showcase. (It changed a bit since my last level post- but its fairly straightforward)

F4F = feedback for feedback. Someone will post feedback on your level thread and then the idea is that you find a level they want feedbacked and you give feedback on their thread. More can be seen in the F4F help/guidelines/whateveritscalled stickied thread.

Feedback isn't just "I like your level", It's constructive criticism or praise and suggestions on how to improve.

I have LBP1. want to make a few levels and play the pirates DLC before moving to LBP2. And yeah that's exactly what I want, someone that can see what I did and tell me what they think and what to do better. Not a lot of people in my list have the game plus I'm kind of new to this so it'll be good to know what experts think Thanks for answering!2011-04-13 22:31:00

Welcome! Glad ya made it!

If you do the F4F option, don't just wait for others to visit your thread. GO PLAY OTHER F4F LEVELS! Leave them constructive feedback and ask to have them honor their F4F by visiting one of your level threads. Be proactive!

Have fun!

They call that the "sampler".
Next thing you know, you're surrounded by smells that you can't identify, and wondering why you're not dressed yet.
Happens to a lot o' people, really.

I laughed.

How are you finding the logic in both LBP's? If you are still playing LBP1, you may want to check out the lbpc logic tutorial.
When I was creating in LBP1 i would make overly complicated logics for something really quite simple. The tutorial is the stuff.
