Okay so this is part 2 of the series and after about a month of procrastinating I finally have it finished. You may ask what took me so long, well part two contains voice acting by me and my family. ^^ Part 3 will be up as soon as I finish it. This level simply introduces a couple more characters to the story. I hope you all enjoy.

I really enjoyed your level. I found it by accident which was nice. It had a great atmosphere with some fantastic level design and camera work. The voice acting was really impressive.2011-04-15 07:44:00

Haha, it's a sack teen dating sim? I've joked in the past about making a dating sim in LBP1, so I thought this could be interesting. Unfortunately I don't think I got too terribly far. I skipped two classes and talked to the girl about her drama and the boy about his video games. I was on my way home when I jumped in front of the school, and my sack tried landing on/in one of the pine trees in the background. This caused me to SPLAT and the level ended, evidently because the entrance was destroyed. I guess this could use more checkpoints just cause you never know when something will go wrong. I might have to check this out again later and just be more careful.

Edit: Whoops, I just realized that I'm talking about Part 1! d'oh

played it and you sure now how to make a good sequel.
+Love the voice acting, normally i dont like voice acting in levels (because sometimes there just terrible)
+Great movie shots, especially the scene with the cousin (was it the cousin, i dont remember)
+Fun snowmobile minigame
things that you can add if its possible
-add the snowmobile minigame again at night
-maybe add a timer to reach to the house fast before the brother comes home, and if you failed to reach there on time the normal ending will playout like a bad ending, but thats just my suggestion.

Really? I didn't have any idea you could do that, but I was curious if it's possible. Do you just destroy the entrance when 1 player is detected, so it doesn't spit out players 2-4?

I'm not usually a big fan of these high school/3D layer glitch levels but I'll check it out. That snowmobile looks really cool!

Also, can you check out my latest masterpiece? It's a cover of the Rise Against song "Re-Education" and I think I've got it pretty much nailed perfectly You be the judge of that though lol http://lbp.me/v/z4zhf7

I teleport one player while simultaneously killing all other player lol. After that u'll no longer be in range of any checkpoints.

Ok, here I am at the lvl right now. First of - very creative way of sounding the dialogues out. Cool. Next thing I love - the very detailed and accurately implemented interior, I love that glass table, sofa is really neat. There are even floor and wall moldings. I did it too, for some reason I find it important for the better realistic look. The chair at the desk makes you wann a sit on it, lol. Even computer monitor is widescreen! Neat! 3D race is awesome. After seing Anya, IDK what to do next and how to get out the cafeteria. Probably I haven't heard Anya's instructions. Will try it again later.2011-04-17 23:17:00

Sorry I guess I need to make the exit more visible. The exit is a glowing patch on the floor that u r1 on. I have a good idea of how i can make it more visible though ^^ thanx for the input

Hey Jowife,

I played part 1 and 2, and I've got to say, your level has got amazing visuals. Obviously a ton of work went into character design, level layout, building detail and screenplay, and all of it shows. Well done!

The voice acting is superb as well. Quite professional, I must say.

Gameplay and plot complement each other well and are entirely enjoyable. I sure hope you end up finishing the narrative! Side note: Canadian characters are awesome.

That said, my biggest gripe (and this applies to both parts) are the subtitles and text! The rest of the levels come across as professional and polished, but some of the speech bubbles read more like IMs. While there are certain things emoticons and text-speak convey, I think it would be worth the extra effort to leave all that to Sackbot animation. You manage just fine during cutscenes, for example. There are also quite a few times when the voiceovers paraphrase the subtitles and so they don't actually match, and that comes across as a little sloppy. Obviously this could turn out to be a major undertaking, so on the short term, I would really suggest looking for typos. The most glaring one I noticed was "stear" for "steer" for the snowmobile controls.

So. Can't wait to see what you do with the series. Well done!

Wow great job on the level. Voice acting was awesome. Plot and dialogue was great. I appreciated the environments and how detailed they were. However, the snowmobile got stuck in a tree haha so I had to go straight to town. Maybe add some invisible bumpers to prevent that from happening? I can't wait to see what happens next! Great job!

If you could play my new level Emeria (thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=56855-Emeria&p=853199) / lbp.me (http://lbp.me/v/yzfc42)) and leave some feedback in my thread that would be great. Thanks for your level!
