Voice-acting limit?
Archive: 5 posts
Forgive me if this has already been posted somewhere, but I haven't found anyone else who has a similar issue to mine. Is there a limit on how much voice-acting can be "assigned" to a Sackbot actor? I have multiple magic mouths for one actor, but the voice output gets cut out halfway through the sequencer, leaving only the subtitles and a frozen Sackbot's face. I can tell the recorded voice is there though, because I have tested each magic mouth individually and even tried starting the sequencer where the voices started diminishing; they're there but something appears to be blocking the recordings from playing when I start from the beginning of the sequencer. ![]() If this cannot be solved, then I'll just resort to using gibberish for the latter half of the film (which would sound funny, but I guess it's better than nothing.) ![]() (Wow, these moderators are very fast at moving threads! Post it in the LBP2 area, you should get some more answers there. | 2011-04-12 16:16:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
No I don't think so... But there is a limit to how much voice you can have on one magic mouth. Try splitting them apart if you plan to speak more than one sentence. | 2011-04-13 02:25:00 Author: LBP2_Tutorialist ![]() Posts: 225 |

I do have one voice recording that is much longer than the ones that are being cut out though, so I'm not really sure if that is the case. ![]() | 2011-04-14 05:51:00 Author: Qrii_Nakari ![]() Posts: 204 |
It's not that certain recordings are activating others, it's because there is probably so many voice recordings that deleting one of the recordings makes room for the others to play. The recording is one thing. But playing the recordings is another. These both take up space in your level as one whole file/ object. If one of these goes overboard, then the whole thing does. | 2011-04-14 06:22:00 Author: LBP2_Tutorialist ![]() Posts: 225 |
